The Legends remind me of the London Monarchs. Hotshots remind me of Barcelona Dragons. The Apollos might be Amsterdam Admirals? Just off the top of my head. lol
They do have that NFL Europe feel to them...!

Who's this guy??? Is he on the Apollos?

Yes, I watched whenever I could.

Quality wise is hard to compare since this AAF is just starting here. But, having said that, NFL Europe was pretty damn good quality. A lot of NFL players played in it. Not the stars, but a lot of backups in the NFL were assigned to Euro games to brush up on their skills. So, it was fairly good quality from what I can remember.

Honestly I watched more of it when it was on USA Network with the helmet cams and was the WLAF, which was only for a couple of years. I could only find games once in a while when they made it only for Europe— probably because of time zones and such. All I remember is it was fun to watch lol.

Here's some notable players that did time in NFL Europe. You'll probably recognize most of them:

Kurt Warner, Amsterdam Admirals

Brad Johnson, London Monarchs

Jon Kitna Barcelona Dragons

Jake Delhomme Amsterdam (1st Season as Warner's backup)

Kelly Holcomb, Barcelona Dragons

Jay Fiedler, Amsterdam Admirals

Scott Mitchell, Orlando Thunder

Shaun Hill, Amsterdam Admirals

Todd Bouman Barcelona

Damon Huard Frankfurt

Jim Miller Frankfurt

Doug Pederson Rhein Fire (Now Eagles Head Coach)

I did the same thing. I wanted to see the SD game but I got the blowout game on CBS instead. Thought for sure something was going to be on NFLN. Tomorrow I think, if that schedule holds.
They show all the games on Youtube, well they did tonight at least.
