Latavius Murray was recently available. He is getting older for a running back, and his best days are behind him, but he would have been a good emergency band-aid, IMO. No idea why the Rams, apparently, did not pursue him when available. His nose for the end zone in close is still top-notch too. Similar to Gurley in that respect, who also excelled there, and retained that part of his game well after his degenerative knee robbed his explosiveness as a runner. The Rams could really use that right now. We won't get much red zone opportunities with this offense at present. We need to cash in when we are there. See: the SF debacle.
Names like Josh Jacobs etc. are nice to dream of but likely not in the cards.
Murray could have been acquired for basically free and be our 2022 CJ Anderson.
