So weird to me. Is Cam really that much of a head case?? Same dude that worked so hard to come back mere months after an Achilles tear?? Gotta be more to this. It seems like there has been weird, undisclosed drama in this clubhouse the last few years. I don't like it
Maybe he doesn’t play well with others, something that’s important if you’re going to be a team player.

I wonder what the differences are. Sad, Akers was on his way to be a stud for us. Maybe Mcvay wants to get more downhill and physical now.

I have read several times that McVay doesn't have the personnel to run his offense anymore.

If he does change his offense to fit the players he does have I would be blown away!

When you are on the outs with McVey you are out, it’s that simple, though it’s amazing how many pages of speculation it’s produced - none of it based on any facts as far as I can tell. Time will tell but if we trade Akers, even if it’s for good reason, it’s a shame because he became a star before picking up the terrible injury and the fought back to play in our super bowl run. The level of disrespect is a little disappointing but heh ho

I'm not saying he didn't work hard, but the early return was due to a new type of surgery not anything special he did after.

hegel vs schopenhauer, Epic well done.
I do wonder at times if McVay is trapped in linear thinking and reluctant to adjust

Maybe Cam and the other backs are interested in the run game.

I’m being a smart ass but McV clearly wants just enough of a run game to support and disguise his pass offense. Doesn’t sound like an ideal situation for RB’s.

It looks like it’s the same result with their running yards, regardless of who is running…

So it was confirmed that the Rams are trying to trade Akers. But they want fair compensation.

I wonder what they consider fair compensation. They can’t be thinking a second round pick can they?

That wouldn't align with the way that NFL teams (outside of the Panthers) value the position.

Based on current drafting trends, Akers should bring a day 3 pick. Most likely a late pick with escalators based on playing time.

At this point, I think it's fair to say that he's going to be moved. I believe the relationship is beyond repair.

Yeah they need to put the crack pipe down. I'm sure there's teams thinking they can snap up a backfield piece on the cheap with Akers. And he has to be cheap too because there's that chance he isn't the same player. Rams are basically selling low here.

The only reason would be if someone significantly overpays.

They’ll get a comp pick if he keeps playing like he does and someone signs them.

The goodwill they would lose and crutch that’s allowing Jones to succeed wouldn’t be worth it.

I guess the the odds are greater than zero… but I wouldn’t move him for less than a first.

You are correct, there is no chance they trade him now, meanwhile I’m gonna just ….
