A few current Ram issues that have me scratching my head…

Plugging Steve Avila in at LG screwed up the original plan, which was Boom at LT and AJ at LG. That forced Boom and Jackson into competing with each other and it appears AJ won that spot. Maybe the best 5 would be Boom at LT, AJ at LG, Shelton at center, Avila at RG and Hav at RT. Just wondering. Did Avila play any RG in college? There is some potential there, IMO.

If AJ is the best LT we have on the roster... why wouldn't we play him at the most important position on the line?

The Rams always move the offensive lineman around during practice. It's a good thing with limited roster space and injuries that happen during the season.

The best fits for the system will start. The Rams will sort it out by who is available and where they can play. I'll let them figure it out. They will make the appropriate adjustments as well.

Is it so hard to grasp that 2 different people could process the same facts and independently come to the same conclusion?

I agree with this. I quit that other site 10 yrs ago because of issues I had with their admin. So I prefer not to have my thoughts shared with some of those clowns. If I did I would post there, but I don't for a reason. So don't paste my comments there as well. And I have seen them posted there on occasion. Not thrilled about that.

Jourdan from 11 Personnel:

- Jourdan thinks Tomlinson could be a star but not yet. Prob won't start the season. Rams really want to see if Kendrick's has kept on his developmental line that they saw from him. Tomlinson has definitely edged out Rochelle.

- Avila has a chance to be really good, franchise guy

- Jourdan thinks Rams keep 6-7 receivers and much depends on if Long is healthy/makes 53. Thinks Skow gets in on ST alone but he's much less involved in offense this year. Robinson and Johnson neck and neck for spots but Robinson's ability at X possibly edges out Johnson.

Second, the OP didn't only bring up the O-line gelling issue. Third, knock off this petty little bickering. It's not becoming of either one of you. I doubt that. There's a vast gulf between those two players. One's a baller with top instincts, the other is an athlete with zero instincts. No way they were ever even remotely comparable on the depth chart.

Quit that "your boy" shit. The Rams at times are completely full of shit with what they say about these guys. They've been hoping Rochell would come around for years now with nothing really showing on the actual field. They put out depth charts but half the time they're garbage. I've been pulling for the dude since we drafted him, and pulled for him again this year, but tonight he got isolated and exposed.

Truth is he was never in the running vs Tomlinson. There is a vast gulf between the two.
