I watched the 1974 Rams-Pats game on youtube yesterday, and this guy Steve Preece was blowing up their receivers left and right.

QB Bill Munson. This card and photo must be from 1968 when the Rams traded Munson to the Lions.

Munson competed with Roman Gabriel for the starting role for several seasons. Went on to start some in Detroit but was mostly a back-up.

"I'm a lover, not a tackler...." ~ Jim Nettles
"You're also no longer an L.A. Ram" ... Chuck Knox (1973)

No blue font. I once read an article that quoted Fred Dryer about how Knox built the '73 Team.

I couldn't find a Lance Rentzel #19 Rams' image from 1974.

Rentzel started opposite Bullet-Bob Hayes for Dallas where he wore #19 but he could not stay out-of-trouble ... so, of course ... he came to Los Angeles where he wore #13 (plenty of photos out there) for two seasons.

Then Rentzel got suspended for all of 1973. Came-back to play for the Rams and alternated with Jack Snow at one starting-WR-spot opposite Harold Jackson.

Rentzel married entertainer Joey Heatherton, who I was in love with when I was 12. Here's the happy couple.

Poodle doos just plain suck.
Walker averaged like 35 yards a punt. They would comment on the fact of his net average because usually his punts resulted in a fair catch, but it drove me crazy he never had the ability to boom one.
