Have you seen their crowd?

They don’t look any wealthier than ours.

9ers were the gold standard while most of these fans were teenagers, now they are in prime earning years with millions in appreciation from real estate over the same period.

Again, blame the freaking NFL owners for removing their block of Georgia when she wanted to move to STL.

So now I'm weak?? Maybe you should be looking at the LA market...I live in Sacramento and was so excited to go to the NFC Championship game to see our Rams get revenge, And then to be told our tickets could possibly be refunded due to our area code is a bunch of bullcrap!! You can call me weak all ya want, But those arguing that this is a good thing to do sound way weaker than the weak. Maybe The NFL should make rules stating that no visiting team fans could ever visit a another teams stadium. Obviously we don't want no big bad fans from visiting teams making to much noise at Sofi!! You can call me what you want, but I still find the whole thing embarrassing.
I didn't mean to imply that you are weak. I would be open to hearing about how irrelevant things (how it looks) hurt your feelings and how that makes you tough.

You're upset that they wanted to shut you out of ticket sales. I'm sorry about that, but there's nothing I can do. That doesn't make it anything but a good strategic move to hurt a team and fanbase that we all should hate.

If all the niner fans are sitting at home talking about how weak we look, meanwhile the Rams dismantle SF in the game, who gives a shit how it looks? Is there going to be an asterisk next to the win? Is it for the Rams fans that are going to get made fun of after the game? Surprise! The overwhelming majority of niner fans are trash and they're going to talk shit after the game no matter what. If we win, they'll talk about taking over the stadium. If we don't let them buy tickets and take over the stadium they'll talk about that. If we lose, they'll talk about that. If nothing else, they will continue talking about 17 in a row and 6 in a row. So who gives a shit what they're talking about?

You care about the opinions of niner fans? They're going to talk shit no matter what happens and they're going to act like they're the real best team no matter what happens (side note: I've witnessed this lack of reality based thought first hand. I had to listen to a guy talk about how Tim Rattay was a future pro bowler for an entire year)

Give me the best chance to win. That means a real home field advantage, not 50k niner fans screaming while we're on third down.

Would it speak volumes about how good the team is if the niner fans take over the game, force the Rams into a silent count, and we still win? Sure, but I don't want the game to be any harder than it has to be.

The goal is a super bowl win, not maintaining niner fans' (or any other fan) respect. If you choose to be butthurt about something that doesn't help the team win, go for it. I won't and shouldn't tell you how to be a fan. But let's not pretend that being hurt by a niner fan's opinion is a sign of strength or toughness.

Man I hate them and their disposable income. The bay area SF is the 2nd richest city in the U.S according to may metrics and #1 is Santa Clara which is of course full of more Niner fans........nauseating

Where I'm sitting is once in a lifetime and getting the ticket directly from a Rams fan friend who had an extra seat. I know the PSL for this seat was most likely $20,000. To buy the same ticket on stubhub with fees is about $3,000. $2,450 + $563 =$3013. This will be my first game at Sofi and an awesome seat for what I feel is a very reasonable price. That being said, this will be, by far, the most I ever paid to attend an event. Bucket list item that I just can't miss.
20,000 is low maybe the lowest in the stadium. I know it dropped in the sections not selling as fast after I was pitched but the most desirable sections were gone and much more than 20k

Scrolling through this thread, if there's one thing I loathe more than deplorable Whiner fans, it's scalpers who exploit off of passionate people trying to enjoy their favorite leisurely activity be it trying to watch their favorite sports team or buy a PS5.

If you go wear Blue any Blue if you don't have a jersey. Every single SF fan will be in Red which shows up better. Let's affect that which we can control and being in Blue is a good start.
Go Rams...........

Here is the way you take it to all these loser wine and cheeses eating 9er fans.
Beat them by 4 TDs. And laugh your ass off at them.
AD, you know what to do. Jimmy VD has not even thrown a TD this playoff season.

Would you pay $900 dollars a ticket to sit in the stands. I just don't have that kind of money. So I will root from home in my LA suburb.
Same, my friend looked for tickets but it’s just too much to view a game 1 mile above. He also told me tailgating parking pass was 600 dollars! Not sure how true that is, but if it is, that’s disgusting.

Gonna re-post this link to the LA Times story which predicts a majority of Niner fans at SoFi on Sunday. Just a reminder: the author of the article thinks the Rams have done everything right re. marketing, it's just gonna take more time to build up the LA fan base, since LA was without a team for 20 years.

I've mentioned before I think the Rams have to build the fan base with the younger fans, peoples sons and daughters. And I think with guys like AD, Von, Stafford, Ramsey and the home grown talent like AD, Kupp and Akers they're doing exactly that. Nothing more exciting to the younger gang in LA than a huge name that's also on all the social media like OBJ. It's evident in the videos of games in bars/restaurants when you see the dads in Dickerson and Youngblood jerseys which I saw were the majority in videos of last weekend and the kids were in 99 and 3 jerseys. It'll happen and unfortunately because the NFL caved to the stripper this is necessary. If not we'd be by far the dominant team in LA with a huge fan base. Until then we have to live with it.

This is so infuriating. 35% showing by home team fans in a championship game.

Maybe Kroenke can block out certain sections for “Covid” reasons. If you know what I mean.

I hope McVay has the offense working silent count all week.

Yup.
And pundits saying “what more can the Rams do?”…

Well.. win a Super Bowl.

And maintain excellence for an extended period.

Since we won't have home field advantage if we can win anyway we have a great chance of winning the superbowl. Winning in that environment will only make us stronger. It will be several years and at least a superbowl win to get l.a. fans to show up in the future. The 9ers fans want their team to win and a 300 mi Drive won't keep them away. Get the silent count ready and expect a tough crowd Sunday. Go rams
