My thoughts are expect to see more 12 personnel or two tight end sets for the rest of the season. At least two of our tuddies came from this group off play action. One to Nacua and one to Parkinson.

McVay’s offense generally speaking, goes next level when you put WR’s like Brandin Cooks and Odell Beckham in there next to the Kupp’s, Woods, Watkins and Nacua types.

Skilled WR’s with finishing speed.

They supposedly tried for Mike Evans this past offseason.
We have Tutu. He’s done some nice things but he’s not the guy.

Not saying we NEED that skilled speedster to win games but i believe things would come much easier for Stafford and company.

Yes, in each case, a true X receiver. I'd include Sammy Watkins in there too but he was the lesser of the three. Robinson is an X-light right now.

Will be interesting to see what direction we go next season, we need help at WR and offensive tackle on the offense (hopefully not QB).

Would be great to get a game changing X in this offense.

My guess based on attempts to add Evans, Bowers and (perhaps) Sutton - adding a true weapon to the receiving corp will be a top priority for McVay off season (via trade, FA, draft). He knows Stafford ain’t getting any younger.

And neither is Kupp. It’s good to have Nacua in line.

The best our offense has ever been is with a healthy Todd Gurely. If we would have got Sequan we couldn't be stopped. The swing passes the dump offs, the screens with Gurely killed and Sequan would be the same. I think Philly paid like 12mil a year. Way more efficent than 20mil+ for a WR. We should get that kid from Idaho.

Get the best RB in the draft and the best deep threat available in the third or fourth round. Sign AJ and a FA CB

Of course the RB would have to not be held out due to PassPro.

He’s definitely hitting free agency but he will command north of 25
Agreed. Pay the money!

I've already done an offseason work up on overthecap.com and they have space. My plan would be to sign T Higgins (for around $25 mil./year) and resign AJ and Bobby Brown. Everyone else can walk and be replaced in the draft.

In the draft focus on CB1, a 3rd OT, more dynamic offensive players, and other smaller holes.

Kyren is really good, not great. Use them like Detroit does.
Ah, I get it. I wouldn't be opposed if they're getting a player like Jahmyr Gibbs. He's a dynamic, game changer and pairs well with Montgomery.

If that's their plan, then yes! If it's just a traditional RB, then I feel it would be a waste of resources.

If they would have gotten Sequan instead of Jackson, things would be different right now with the Oline getting healthy. What did we pay for Jackson?

I don't think there would be a huge difference. The issue is the OL. Kyren was the 2nd best RB last year behind a good OL.

I did say with the Oline healthy. Anyway, adding a break away threat from the back field or the WR position would be great. Lets not spend our money on a FA Wr though.

Yeas there would be a huge difference. Kyren is nice, great feel for the game and a patient runner.
But when is the last time we have seen a run or short pass to KW and he is GONE .... Touchdown ?
We don't see that with Kyren.
