Just missed Goff's time in the game. Wish him the best. Sounds like he did OK. Stayed healthy and got some reps in. The Goff Lions Era begins.
I think @Angry Ram wants a Rams v Lions NFC Championship game.....Holy crap, could you imagine how lit this site would be? lol

I share too much TV time with my kids to watch an unnecessary game. I’ll check in on Goff in a few weeks.

They need that young OL outside of Decker to gel quickly. Pass blocking was good that second drive but they need to get the run game going.

Yes sir OldSchool.

About 90% of NFL QB's need to get the ground game going to be consistently effective.

If they can't get the run game going, the better defenses ranked in the top 10 - 12 will feast on those QB's more often than not.

I'll never not be salty after him being so inpet against the Jets. A win and in game against the worst team in NFL history. Instead it was 2 Ls in a row and had to win and in on the road in week 17.

he only saw what he wanted to see. he had, let me look it up .... motivated perception.

.
Alas, let's not get sucked in to the trolling, past is past. I'd like to see Goff do well, and I'd LOVE to see Stafford win a Superbowl

I missed it. Sounds like it was a mixed bag. Glad he redeemed himself on the second drive. Will be interesting to see him with Hockenson and Swift when they're healthy.

Lol, this much is certain, he’s accomplished more this preseason than our starting QB will

It's all a grain of salt. He looked really good on the 2nd drive, 7 straight completions, threw a couple of seeds.

Outside of his first pass he looked pretty good actually. Albiet preseason. Was accurate, avoided pressure and was mobile as well. Could have had a TD if not for a non called PI.

Detroits run blocking looked pretty bad though for the most part. Expected a little more from that line.

No Swift, No Hockenson, and Sewell got beat on the sack. Ragonow had a penalty that had a big play called back and they ended up getting a 1st down anyway. Mixed bag, but yeah. Preseason......

He did well against a vanilla defense. He was accurate with short throws and a few medium length ones, but, most (if not all) were his first read and he didn't disguise where the ball was going. They tried to run the ball which will only help him during the year and he himelf tucked the ball and ran a couple of times. I'm sure the Lions were running a vanilla offensive scheme, but the true test will be when defensive coaches try to shake him in real games....

Yeah that penalty on Ragnow was pretty lame. That happens to Donald what every play damn near?

Sewell didn't have a great game but it was his first NFL action.
