Not a bad 2nd series... Considering who he is throwing to...and the missed PI in the endzone.

Good 2nd drive for Goff 7/8 passing, missed a TD that should have been PI

Strong looks strong.

That looked exactly like so many of our drives last year.
No shit! it was eerily similar!

Goff limitations and his recent trends melded together with a great pass to not end the drive and falsely give hope at the end.

Reality is the Lions in some ways could be more consistent with Goff IF their OL plays well and because they will try to establish a run game more than if Stafford was still their QB. Instead of putting everything on Stafford's arm, they will spread the burden.

Will be more boring, but maybe more reliable.

Amon-Ra St. Brown looked pretty impressive. Very clean coming in and out of his breaks and great routes. I saw a lot that projected him as a 2nd round pick with strong hands and route running. He was a 5-star prospect coming out of HS, the #1 WR in the country when he went to SC. Wouldn't have been mad if the Rams grabbed him, but he looks to be the real deal as a rookie. For anyone that plays in deep fantasy leagues he's a nice late round target. I could see him leading their receiving core as Tyrell Williams always gets hurt.

They need that young OL outside of Decker to gel quickly. Pass blocking was good that second drive but they need to get the run game going.

Seeing Goff play well against a stout Buffalo defense is a good sign for Detroit. Buffalo has a solid squad and this may be their year.

Meh, first preseason game. Goff wasn’t terrible, new team, didn’t look much different. Did not see him throw to anyone but his first option. Locked in and never moved on. Refs bailed them out with the illegal contact call.

Nothing new but at least he didn’t get hurt.

In a strange way I'm rooting for Jared to do well in Detroit.

I was one of his biggest advocates until the 2019 season ended.

As long as Stafford delivers a couple of Lombardi's, I have no reason to crap on Goff when he makes similar mistakes for the Lions like he did with our Rams.

Goff is a streaky QB and we all know if the Lions O-Line gives him time, he will pick most teams apart when he's in a rhythm.

Go Rams!

Go Stafford!

Just missed Goff's time in the game. Wish him the best. Sounds like he did OK. Stayed healthy and got some reps in. The Goff Lions Era begins.

Definately rooting for Goff every game except Rams game. Want the Lions to battle all other teams in the NFC North. If they cant beat them at least challenge them and force some wear and tear on starters.
