I just disagree with this entirely. Goff was the better QB on the field today. Those 20 yard plus plays are statistically toss ups. He threw one to Reynolds over the underneath defender and in front of the receiver that hit him in the hands. Great placement. On his short throws he was placing the ball on the numbers despite having CB draped all over the WRs. If you look at Jimmy G's performance it was poor in comparison.

I think this game should also disabuse people of the idea that you could stick a rookie QB in this offense and get results because McVay.
Just because it’s something you don’t like doesn’t mean it’s not true. Watch the game through those Cal 16 googles all you want it doesn’t change he had a horrid game. He’s been part of the problem and not the solution.

Oh, Jimmy G can suck a big one to.

This Rams team is not currently a Team.

Something is going on with this teams mindset.

This is not a team. And it's going to turn into a train wreck if everyone doesn't get their head out of their collective asses.

Haha, wow. That's a little emotional. I was just trying to have a discussion based on some of the things I saw. You didn't really point to any examples so I was trying to understand where you're coming from.

I guess everyone's in their feefees right now.

That was the worst beat down since we played this same team in Santa Clara to open the 2016 season did Rob Bore_us and GRob sneak onto the feild today? That was tough to watch.

I hate to add to the shyte show. yeah, our Oline is crap and if we don’t trade for a one or two legit starting Olinemen, this season is done.

Having said that, our QB can only function with a good Oline. I know that provisionally true with all QB’s, but Goff looks so bad when things break down. I’d say he has a good 40% chance to lose the ball when things break down, or at least it seems that way. We are locked into Goff, unless we trade him. I have jokingly said “Tank for Tua” (top rated QB in next years draft). Is Goff a slightly better version of SamBradford? Right now I’d kill for a young version of Brett Favre

You want examples? Sorry I don’t have a play by play copy of the game right now to give you exact minute, second, yard line, and play to your satisfaction. When I do I’ll post it for all your itty bitty feesfees so you can the cerebral one.

How anyone can say the defense played well today is beyond me . A brain fart by JG on the Int and an easy drop for a TD by the RB and they have at least 30 . They also had them pinned at the 1 with a chance to get the ball back , and gave up a makable FG attempt. Let's throw in the fact that Goff and the terrible oline put up 40 and 29 and lost both games . No defending that group

I think it's just the scheme to be honest. We like to play soft coverage looking for those opportunistic plays. The underneath zone was open all day long. Run defense was OK. Better than last year, IMHO.

I do remember us playing man early in the game. For some reason Goodwin was left uncovered but thankfully dropped the ball. Definitely not a talent thing. Either people are blowing their assignments or the scheme is off.

DUDE what are you smoking?? He threw for 78 fucking yards in a 4-quarter game.

yes the O-line is atrocious, but Goff is playing like one of the worst QBs in the entire NFL. LOOK AT THE NUMBERS. He misses WIDE OPEN TDs EVERY WEEK. Oh also he leads the NFL in turnovers.

He was the better QB on the field today? How does someone watch that football game, and honestly come away with that assessment? You have got to be kidding me, these Goff apologists are actually worse than the Bradford apologists. Its INCREDIBLE.

If Rams struggle offensively next week against Falcons, you can stick a fork in Goff and this offense.
My bet is we get something that looks like our game in Arizona last year, where they score just enough that we can't take anything from it.

Shame, we look like a 6th playoff seed team at the moment. I get that our O-line sucks but is there anything in McVay's playbook that neutralizes an effective pass rush?

.

these are the players that get the game ball for outstanding contributions to the loss as it happened.

fowler - offside on 3rd and 8 when they sacked the qb. gave the whiners a second chance and they took it. completely changed the flow of the game and allowed them to play their game. thanks for nothing dante. he even did it a couple more times to screw the rams further.

mcvay - two plays at the 1 yard line and you call the same ineffective run play. if they showed both plays after each other you'd think the second play was just a replay of the first play.

littleton - when jimmy g gift wraps a pick 6 for you don't drop the ball. you didn't have to stretch out or reach back for it, it hit you in the bread basket and you dropped it cold. huge turning point in the game.

henderson - please look at the ball when it is pitched to you. thanks for letting the whiners get the upper hand straight away in the 2nd half.

refs - there's no way jimmy g scored there you fucking cheating, fucking elephant dick sucking fucking motherfuckers.

micheal thomas - is it that hard not to turn upfield until the ball is snapped? you fucked the rams good and proper when they really needed some luck.

oline - can you give goff more than one fucking second to plant his feet and make a throw. this team is going nowhere with this oline.

goff - after 57 mins of nothing you have the chance to make a play to give the rams a chance to win the game. and you blew it. inexcusable to overthrow everett in that situation. still had a timeout and two minute warning to go. i couldn't believe my eyes.

a horrible game all round from the rams. i was wondering if they let jeff fisher coach the team for this week because that looked exactly like a fisher team.

I'm more pissed at the constant reaction shots of the Whiners DC. Fuck that guy showing out for the cameras.

you know what i hated more...fucking george kittle's little celebration move. fuck that shit made me want to punch him in the face, if two other guys were holding him back.
