I dont think the players take losses as hard as alot of us fans do. I see alot of them laughing and high fiving opposing players right after the game. Dont overreact. Its the OL

This is what happens when you dont invest in the oline. Get ready for more games just like this one.

This. Right. Here.

People think its bad now, how do we win another game with this o-line? This year is overrrrrrr

Why is it our Rams always fall from grace after being on top of the mountain.

What a shame

Yep. Meanwhile the fucking Pats get the AFC Least for 20 years. Why do the football gods hate the Rams?

All we need now is to draft a QB to play WR...

damn could’ve been 4-2 at least with that GZ FG but here we are. It honestly feels like the season is over. There is no energy behind this team anymore.

I been fearing saying this for a while. Goff is high end average to average at best. (8-15) He misses wide open and has poorly placed balls which has been his M.O. I see the excuses of the o-line isn’t giving him enough time which is true but even on the plays he does have time or not in imminent danger he throws a shitty ball to a whole load of wide open guys. He’s a fumble machine with no sense of pocket presence as of late.

McVay isn’t as smart as he thinks he is and has been drinking the media’s koolaid. He’s become very very predictable. I swear I could beat his ass in Madden and I suck at Madden. Wtf is up with flat screens 3 plays in a row? And you haven’t run it inside all season on important downs and wait till the load the middle gaps and rush on 4th and 1 or 2? Wtf is up with him?

We need to do something about this o-line. The middle three are really bringing everybody else into the tank.

Getting rid of certain picks with a trade was wise while others were just atrocious in longevity such as the Peters trade.

P.s. NO ONE ON THE FUCKING DEFENSE KNOWS HOW TO TACKLE. EITHER THEIR LAZY OR TO GOOD TO WRAP UP NOW...

We had our chances today.

Got the INT in the EZ and had a chance for a 14 point swing. Had to punt.

Had the ball at the 49er 1 yard line. O couldn't get enough push to get the ball in the EZ on 4th down.

Littleton dropped a pick six.

Had a fumble recovery on special teams wiped out by a penalty.

Had another scoop of a fumble that put us in great field position, couldn't capitalize.

Our OL gave up 4 sacks and had numerous stupid penalties today.

More than anything though, our OL was absolute shit today, and most of this loss is on them, because they were the ones that prevented our O from ever getting into any kind of rhythm.

Hard to rant when you know the reality is we are not a good team. It’s more than the o-line. Defense isn’t that good (see Bucs game). Can’t win a game on a FG. McVays offense has been figured out. I can’t even rant. Back to normal Rams mode. I have many years experience with that...

DL and OL are not talented enough.

The Niners OL is beat up and yet they still dominated the line of scrimmage.

That is how bad the D is right now. Add in that they can't play man coverage so they sit in soft zones. Thus they cant get decent offenses off the field with no pressure and the soft coverage.

The coaching staff needs to come up with some smoke and mirrors because they don't have the horses in the trenches right now.

We need to toughen up ... the o line stinks and that’s before boom went down .. now with Demby in there it’s even worse it could be the worst line in football

Our D has been mediocre we need to to retool the D because Weddle and Clay May hang it up after this year peters can take his no tackling ass to somewhere else and take their dollars .. Talib is probably done as well .. I see a tonne of effort from players like Hager and reeder and day but they are just not starters .. and I hate to say it it may be time wade to put on his cowboy hat and ride into retirement or become defensive coach mentor to someone else

Goff is rattled and it’s the o lines fault from last year having time to let our deep digs develop to barley 2 seconds to throw of course he is gonna miss some throws

I’d float the idea of trading Gurley (but I’d doubt anyone would take him plus the cap shenanigans same for cook)

I hate this feeling .. I was used to it through the last 20 odd years of ram fandom .. I truely thought bad teams were a thing do the past .. the optimist in me says it’s a Super Bowl hangover ..

Can't even get into ranting about this loss tbh. It is what it is. Not mad just kind of sad.

We are a .500 team trying to find our way. With a struggling OL and a defense that is middle of the pack and filled with high paid vets.

Biggest complaint today for me wrt McVay is him not going back to Henderson on the pitch plays after the fumble. 9ers didn't stop that action. Rams quit trying it. As to the players, we got some guys on offense who have no business being out there.

IMO they need to do a few things...

1. Cut Demby. I mean seriously we are past the point of where Kromer's insistence on playing Jamil is hurting this team.

2. Insert Edwards at LG. Whether or not Boom is back he should be our swing depth player.

3. Hire Jay to help with our offense. I don't think our problems are schematic but Jay is experienced and knowledgeable and another good mind in there to help mask our personnel problems is a good thing.

4. More Henderson. Feed that kid ffs.
Edwards was bad in preseason.
Maybe he’d be better, maybe he wouldn’t.
Henderson’s fumble was high school Jv horseshit.

Losing sucks...but, losing to the 9ers is the worst.

After 6 games the way overrated Rams are 1/2 out of last place in the NFC West . Not much else to say I guess.

I agree with most of that. But it’s going to take years to fix all those problems.

Even if Gurley were 100% and playing at his 2017/2018 level, I think this team would still be really struggling right now. The o line play is just awful.

I was lambasted for saying I was having a hard time seeing how the Rams won this one.
Too injured against a team firing on all cylinders.
Can the Rams D play well enough to beat a struggling Falcons team? No idea.

Need to see a Rams team with a focus on how Sean Got His Groove Back.

The O Line: Never should have kept Fowler over Saffold. I bet for $11M per year he stays. Kromer is asking his players to do too much. Saw a couple O Line stunts and the Rams paid for it.

The D: Wade stop playing your guys 7-8 yards off the ball or find a rocking chair and call it a day.

Goff: Start stepping up into the pocket. Your OTs are getting beat on speed rushes. Especially when seeing a wide 9 Dline.

I’ve thought going into the season that this would be Gurley’s last as a Ram but now I am certain of it. They should do whatever it takes to get off his number so they can use the money elsewhere. They might have to give up a pick or something to get someone to take Gurley’s contract, but it might be worth it.

Hard to step up with Allen and Demby being pushed 5 yards back every play
