All valid points. I still think you got it wrong, and until WE see change your right.
What he is saying & the way The Rams are structuring there roster.I’ll beg to differ .Plus Everet
they used 12 personnel his first 2 years. They only carried 3 TE’s though which I got Demoff pissed for saying SO.

Meaning they needed more depth.Yeah Hopkins was a joke & head case. He did show up in the Superbowl.Hendo had a great 3rd down catch as well in the game besides Kupp’s sweep on 4th down.

I don’t think The Rams want to use Puka like they have with Kupp.Mcvay also said he was going to bring in 2 more TE’s which he just did with UDRFA. SO they shows a little thinking than the past.

Oldschool was talking about The Rams drafting a CB.They didn’t even pick a CB up as a UDRFA. Last year they signed 3 plus .
Scheme didn't get Parkinson only 45 targets last year because for more than half the season he was our #1 TE with Higbee out. Again, I'm not saying from a skillset we should cut him. I'm saying his SALARY, along with his current place on the depth chart do not match. You can't pay your 3rd string TE like he's a starter.......particularly when he was your starter, you didn't involve him in the offense.

Parkinson staying is going to require him restructuring his contract.

I actually think Davis Allen could develop into a solid player. ....as a 2nd or 3rd TE at least.... Parkinson's value as a blocker would hopefully keep him on the squad for this season, but in the salary range of a 3rd string TE.

Trade Parkinson and 5th to Miami for Ramsey. He does have a $5M base salary, might not be what Miami would want to pay, but nothing guaranteed past this year as it's the last yr of his deal.

Blah blah blah -
Always- here is a cool video of Les Snead today talking about the draft. I BLAME Les Snead for the Free Agent hiring of Parkisian. He was a loyala hs kid(Stanford). That was a David Long connection as well.
He talks about the change of TE,SO it should give a better look at what’s up.

This is, ”If you don’t pick him now, Snead, I’m leaving.” Vibes?

this is edited and missing the part where mcvay was ready to put snead in a sleeper so that he doesn't trade down or go with another selection and risk losing puka. snead was ready to overthink the selection and mcvay had to right the ship.

you post this video that is incomplete. it is clearly edited however in no way do you think that it may be missing a part that doesn't align with your recollection ,or more likely, your lack of knowledge in this instance, yet you want to claim an internet victory. this isn't the first time. sad.

it's possible that you don't know more than everyone about everything regarding the rams. this is another example of that.

Looks like he goes down real easy and lacks the strength to compete at the NFL level.

This has the makings of a very bad draft.

But time will tell.
Right now I’m most excited about a day 3 LB and a WR picked in the 7th round—our last two picks!

I think that is the biggest reason the Rams ran 11 personnel so much, it was hard for McVay to pull Kupp for a TE that didnt offer as much or more in the pass and run game than Kupp did.
Agree 100%. Been saying something similar for years while posters complain or predict the Rams will use more 12 personnel.
Kupp offered too much as a WR to be pulled for a TE. So did Woods and now Nacua.

I saw Kupp always as the main blocker on the screens to Nacua. It was the first time I could remember the Rams ever having a decent screen game in quite some time—especially without an extra special RB out in the flat.

This offense is gonna look different this season and without above average blocking from WRs, the Rams will have to (finally) run more 12 personnel.

I just grabbed the first clip that popped up. I didn’t even watch it.

Actually, now the burden of proof is on you. Otherwise my evidence stands.
