Next Rams DC?
Could be a possibility, but I think he'll be offered a head coach position by some other team. He has the pedigree for it.

The Graziano piece is worth a read for a more nuanced take

I am sure @Allen2McVay will be champing at the bit to read this!

Seriously though, I never had an issue with Dan Graziano (except he mugs for the camera too much).

Usually, I have no problem with opinions or takes I disagree with or consider weak ... no big deal.

Very rarely, I do lose it over a statement that I consider so unreasonable that it does not even qualify as an opinion or bad take. Last time I had that response was 2017 ... Mike Lombardi's comment about Jared Goff.

9 years later, Graziano's comment about Stafford had a very similar impact ... and ... I'm an Italian American!

So, in summary ... regarding Dan Graziano ...

I mean, if Fiske breaks out.....its freakin over for teams.

The phrase "embarrassment of riches" comes to mind.

Good lord, we have Garrett and Agent Zero on the edges, we have Kobie in the middle, might (probably IMO) have AD there too, and now might have a breakout year from Fiske?? Holy shit.

The biggest obstacle to getting snaps for some of our guys on D might be all the 3-n-outs they pitch.

And Poona. This could be insane.

Would love that!

The thing that will put this unit over the top, imo, is the fact that they have MULTIPLE potential combinations that, imo, will allow them to rush only four on passing downs and create a ton of pressure. Combine that with the talent they now have in the backfield.. whew. Keeping Lake and Curl was really, really smart... and Forbes, slotted as the third corner.. is going to be more than just fine.

Can't wait!

Reading some of the comments about training camp

I am really worried if Stafford goes down for an extended period.

Bennett just doesn't have it and Simpson is not ready.

I know they are going against a tough defense but are they doing any better against the second stringers?

If Stafford goes down, I will have to hope that we play a ball control offense and win 13 10 games.

Sigh - the Fisher days

Let's see how Bennett and Simpson look in joint practices first... but yeah I don't love these two as options right now.

So, if Stafford goes down, you will sigh. Same goes for fans of Buffalo, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, New England, Baltimore, Denver, Jacksonville, Seattle, San Francisco, Tampa Bay, Dallas, NYG if THEIR Starters go down.

Is that really SAYING anything????

Some of these teams have decent back-ups - ours not so much
