LOL, sure they do......
SF has a decent back-up

And some of the others have better back-ups than we do.

All I want from our back-ups is to go 500. Right now if Stafford goes down for 8 games, I see us going 1 7 unless we have 13 10 like games especially with our schedule.

Sure, Kyle Allen can steer the ship in Buffalo for 8 games. Jarrett Stidham in Denver? We all saw how THAT was last Playoffs. Burrow goes down er......I'll check who Cincinnati 's backup is and get back to you......

If Stafford goes down for 8 games we're in major trouble. Thats with either Garoppolo OR Simpson stepping in. So if we HAD TO play run-heavy and rely on our Defense you'd equate that to Fisher days??? With THIS Defense? Really???

That was Fisher to a T

And I said better back-ups than us. Not that they would be great but they might be able to lead them for 8 game split. Us not so sure. Hell I could see us winning 3-0 with that offense.

I have also seen teams do okay with a back-up - don't go all high and mighty on me with your sarcasm.

Well Garoppolo is a phone call away. Do you really think its a difference enough of Bennett/Simpson goes 1-7 in an 8-game absence while Garoppolo goes 4-4???

That would make Jimmy a 35M a year Quarterback.

I am not all that confident with Crapola either. Maybe 3 - 5

Last Year before the season started they were thinking of putting Matthew Stafford on IR due to the back issues.
Think about that. He's healthy now. Hopefully still in the spaceship getting treatments.

Exaggerate much???

World Class Top of the League Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Competent O-Line ( not to mention Head Coach) and we're scoring 3 points???

And our backups are THAT bad that they cant complete a pass???

You can make your point without hysterically exaggerating ya know....

Bro, an Elite backup Quarterback does not EXIST. What do you WANT, Baker Mayfield on our Bench???

It is what it is......
I consider our backups to be in the bottom half of the league.

I want a backup that is in the top half of the league as far as backups go.

That's all I want.

McVay's never had a decent back-up. I consider Crapola to be just a bit behind decent the last two years. Never been that impressed with him especially after the year he had as a Raider.

3-0 might have been an exaggeration but compared to your sarcasms - its nothing.

Edit - I could see the Denver game being a really low scoring game if Stafford doesn't play.

I will say that maybe next year we will have a decent back-up in Simpson if Stafford comes back.
