Corum & that 2nd rounder for McDuffie?

I believe I saw someone on twitter make this suggestion.

That would be terrific for the Rams but my guess is that K.C. would get much better offers for McDuffie.
Maybe. I wonder how much better.

It's a deep CB draft class.
Free agency hasn't started yet.
KC needs cap space.
McDuffie is entering the final year of his deal and will need a new contract.
The Rams have other young players coming up for new deals.

I'm really not a fan of aggressive pre-draft trades trying to capitalize on a Stafford window. If this were a young Jalen Ramsey maybe, but McDuffie?

I'd prefer they wait to see how the draft and the season is going and then if need be try to do something at the trade deadline.

I don't think Tate, Tyson or Lemon have done much to separate themselves from each other. It's more what flavor do you like. None would be ahead of Tet last year. Because of Tyson's injury hx I can see him going after Tate and Lemon unless some team picking Tyson is okay with the injury hx and sees Lemon as a slot only.

I like a lot of later receivers more, even if I don't think they should be as highly ranked. I just like the match of skills and where they'll be drafted later with their potential upside.

I don't like drafting 13 in this draft right now unless Delane makes it to us.
Although I like Tyson better than these 2, I can definitely understand why that would be the opinion. There's definitely WRs later thar definitely warrant consideration. Brazzell, Skyler Bell and Ted Hurst are later options I really like. Are there any that you like?

Agree big drop off after top 9. It depends on FA but I’d rather move up than down with that R1.13 pick to get one of those top 9 players. Styles, Downs, Bailey would be transformational if one were available at R1.9/10.
I'd say Styles and Love would be my top players to trade up for. The compensation teams are going to want to move up if those players are still on the board is my concern.

Keep #29
Dangle Kyren Williams along with our #13 and a filler pick to both New Orleans and KC at #8 and #9

It’s five spots to grab one of the best players in the draft. It’s not crazy or irresponsible.
Problem is that both New Orleans and KC are landing spots for Love himself. I think any team that wants JL will have to move up to at least 7

I gotta say this year I haven't watch jack as far as games of players like I have in years past but there are a ton of guys that I'm starting to like and intrigue me at a lower price and I'd like to watch more of in no order: De’Zhaun Stribling, Michael Wilson, Andrew Armstrong, Brazzell, Omar Cooper, Ted Hurst, Denzel Boston, Tyren Montgomery, Malachi Fields, Reggie Virgil.

Dang that's quite a few. Definitely gonna have a look at some of those as some I'm more familiar with than others.

Rams have problems. RB ain’t one of them.
From a birds eye view the Rams don’t have any positional “problems” other than CB. Yet, they’re about to add at least a dozen new players in FA and the draft.

My point is that this is about filling holes, adding depth AND upgrading the roster by adding better players over existing players at ANY position.

Love is considered one of the best football players in this draft. He’s a RB and he’s better than what we’re rolling out there.

An elite RB would do more for Stafford and McVay then probably anyone they would draft at #13. That’s my strong opinion.

Another opinion is that he’s worth a trade up of maybe five spots.
I can understand those who feel the trade up isn’t worth it.
What I disagree with is the philosophy of “We’re good at RB so Jeremiah Love shouldn’t be in the discussion” mentality.

Rams are “pretty good” all over the roster.

I’d prefer a trade down to recoup some picks, then select Cooper Jr, but if no trade down happens, sign me up for this.
Yeah. We're in a straight up win-win situation at 13. And TBH, corners have been going later in drafts than they should lately (Mitchell went in the late 20s and Dejean went in the second round). Maybe we trade back to 25ish and still get a shot at one of the top 2.

Gonna be really interesting to see what Rams do. Very uneven draft and not strong are the comments I hear from draft watchers, not many blue chippers and only a few positions with depth.

Do you trade a lot to get a blue chipper, do you try to trade back and pick up more picks, do you try to amass picks in a certain round/area where you feel there's strength to the draft (where talent matches price).

Probably make plans for each and see how the chips fall. But my guess is staying pat and letting the draft come to you is not the ideal strategy in this years draft.

Definitely a quality roster. I think my biggest complaint with it would be our biggest problem is speed. We need speed all over the roster. Our wideouts are 2 strong, but we require speed outside the hash there. Our front seven has a lot of nice pieces, but we lack speed offball and on the Edge if Young leaves in FA. And we just added a big piece to the Corner room, but we still need another infusion of speed and coverage ability to round out the group, plus depth.

It would really be nice if the Rams could have a run like the Patriots had where every other team in the division sucked for years.

100%.
And I don't share @So Ram 's optimism of J.Hunter. This kid literally had ZERO snaps in 2025 -- not even on special teams.
I think he must've been Snead's obligatory Auburn draft pick. Between him & CP Jr., we wasted 2 picks that might've helped us out on ST's -- our worst performing unit in 2025, by far, and the #1 reason we missed hoisting a Lombardi last season.
And I'm one of the biggest KW fans there is on this board, and genuinely excited about Corum too. But Love would be our next Dickerson / Gurley type, and fundamentally transform this team's Offense. We have serious threats at WR and TE that a D has to account for on every down, but teams can play nickel & dime against us all day long & still beat us. Sure they give up plenty of yards to KW & BC, and KW's EZ rate is crazy good. But Love could take it to the house on every snap (even passes out of the backfield), forcing the D to play 2 ILB's. Puka & Adams & Ferg would have a field day against that.
Ya I'd move up about 5 spots, & see if we can't make just one more trade w/ KC :D
