I was trying to stay with the theme. OL must be fine. All the OTs that can be starters immediately will be off the board.
You don't think we're going to find another Alaric Jackson somehow somewhere?
(I still can't believe we found Alaric Jackson to be honest with you)

I should go back over posts about Tyson and see if any wanting him are now claiming “injury prone” is a problem for Simpson.

I will say this, if not for the Rams QB situation now it would be a horrible pick. Simpson having to start this year would be a disaster.

I do enjoy fans who always state, they could have traded back! lol!

It’s nerve-wracking that his first and only collegiate season as a starter - or even seeing the field - had all those injuries.

I’m not upset that we picked him. I’m upset because there’s a real possibility we could’ve easily had him elsewhere than #13.
Nah, Arizona was gonna "Dart" him late teens/early 20's. Serves them right for not trading us pick 3 for Love.

I don't think anybody didn't like Stafford -- the primary complaint was the price.
Fair enough. Most fans HATED the price paid. And at the time of the trade, most Rams fans didn't know much about Stafford, and sure as hell didn't think he'd bring us a SB win his first year. Stafford was underrated by Rams fans at the time of the trade, no doubt about it. Nobody was speaking of him in reverential tones like we do now.

Trust me-- I remember that Stafford trade thread, and a LOT of posters would gladly eat crow about their initial takes on the trade.

I like having a successor in the building, and a guy who is a perfect fit for the offense, who has a great mind and is a quick processor. Now he gets to sit and learn behind a HOF QB, who will help him, and a HC who is a great offensive mind.

It's worth the gamble. In a deep WR draft go get a guy in rd 2. Add an edge in rd 3. Then shot gun OL depth on day 3. Hopefully they can add an extra 4th or 5th with a trade down from 93 or a player trade or future draft pick trade.

True, Alaric developed nicely and you usually develop All Pro Tackles, not draft them. Our backups must be much better than they looked last year. I sure as hell hope so.

Congrats. You're the second person to make my Ignored list. Enjoy.
Aww... it's the gifs fault. They're always breaking. They're so fragile. I thought we were all in, but no one's fixing the gifs. Oh well I'll just trust the forum to one day fix them. In Mods we trust.

Best case scenario i think. I need to look more into Simpson to see what he's got.
When he looked good he was on par with Mendoza but his team was terrably inconsistent from a bad run game and poor run blocking , less than usual receiver production and inconsistent OL play outside of Proctor.

If you listen to many draft guys, he looked better than Mendoza through the first 7 or 8 weeks.
