I don't trust his injury history. I don't trust his lack of starts. I don't trust his arm. I don't trust a whole hell of a lot of what he has. Accuracy? Yes. Anticipation? Yes. But I don't think his arm is much better than Purdy's, if at all.

When you look back at the last week, the Stafford extension leak, a lot of draft guys bringing up Simpson and the Rams again (McShay), Glazer saying he knows of a big move that will happen, but can't say (has pulse on Rams in LA), this shouldn't have been a huge shock.

They wanted to make it clear Stafford is still going to be the guy, before they made this pick.

If Simpson turns out to be a good pro QB he will truly be an anomaly. Track record for sub 6’1 QBs with fewer than 20 starts is absolutely abysmal. Just not on board with the pick.

I’m curious, when was the last time he was measured? Was he a LEGIT 6’1”?
