Look on the bright side - next year is supposed to be a better draft, and we won't be wasting a pick on a QB.
Stop being hysterical. The Rams are a team that pick in the twenties and we traded that pick for McDuffie. This pick was house money and we did the right thing with it.
At least there's no pressure for the guy to play soon, but I just don't see it with Simpson.

What a horrible decision. He's not even a first round quality QB. Why trade away the late first round pick for McDuffie if we aren't all in? Draft someone who can help win the SB this year. Pathetic. If I was Stafford, I'd just retire.

Joel Klatt said on NFLN that McVay fell in love with Simpson's tape. They talked to Stafford today, telling him that he is the starter as long as he wants to play, but Simpson was going to be added.
I frankly don't even much care any more. This pick has completely tarnished this draft. Awful.
