I swear it's like the Tutu experience made McVay swear off all fast WRs even if they're actually the size of an NFL player.

I get all these picks, and I like them - but a WR that can stretch the field and return kicks seems like it would have been ideal. I guess that's going to be X man

I saw on another site that the Rams signed 2 different guys named Nick Anderson :laugh3:

Are you sure? All I'm seeing is Nick Anderson from Wake Forest (a corner).

I don't think Nic Anderson (I think that's whom you mean? He's a wide receiver from LSU.) is coming here. I could be wrong, though!

Yes, he was the other.
Oddly, there is apparently even another Nick Anderson - LB Tulane :laugh1:

But as far as I know, he's not one of the signings.

To me, these UDFA lists seem a bit sketchy at first, so take it with a grain of salt.

From what I can tell, Nic Anderson (the wideout) transferred to Kentucky and wasn't in this class.

It really looks like he rates other things higher than speed and it makes it seem like he wants a unicorn. I think he'll take a sub 4.4 WR if he can block, run the right routes well and actually cat h the ball. It seems like he or maybe its Yarber hasn't seen a guy that checks the boxes and it can get frustrating.

A little off topic, but anyone remember how so many draft picks (even sometimes 4th and 5th rounders) not making the team under Jeff 7-9 Fisher? Seems like most draft picks make the team under McVay.
That's pretty easy. Snead has gotten better at drafting over time and McVay gives him a better vision for drafting role players with a purpose.

Now, that's a face to scare the crap out of Edge-rushers.

Looks like he put on a tie for the first time in his life ... AND ... took him an hour to do it!

That's an Offensive Lineman.

He's not. He is in the bottom half of the league in both kick and punt return average. That one game was extra bad but on the whole he is sub par. He should be upgraded.
Maybe that has more to do with who's blocking for him.

Yikes! If accurate, that's high for the Rams.
Aaron Wilson is the same guy that last night, listed Tim Keenen as a 'post-draft' addition.

I know Villari is a TE but I am thinking ... Special Teams skill-set?

Thought one or two of the late seventh round picks might be ST-specific for Ventrone but they were traded.

Was also thinking the Wake Forrest safety Nick Andersen might be a special teams guy.

I would like to see more of Brennan Presley returning punts. Showed some juice in preseason last year and also ability to catch the football too. Problem is IMO, Smith is their deep threat and as a receiver I believe they believe in him in that capacity.
