I’m betting on one of the LBs.
I think a number of these guys hang around just due to the light drafts of late.

A LB replaces Reeder

Edge replaces Hampton/Keir Thomas spot

RB Hoover replaces Rivers

CB replaces Kendrick/ Witherspoon spot

One of the OL sticks

Several will comprise the PS.

I wonder if Vilari or Rohan Jones really show out well, if the Rams could trade Davis Allen?

Maybe Gladstone would be interested. They did draft a TE in the 2nd. So maybe they want to go 13 personnel as well and could use more depth there. He knows the kid.

And I don’t get why he can’t earn a place on the team. It’s not like Rivers has lit the world on fire.
True, but McVay trusts Ronnie Rivers and that trust has kept Rivers on this roster. Conners is bigger, stronger and faster, so there is obviously a chance, but I am rooting for Jordan Waters, who was an UDRFA last year and looked good in preseason, plus Waters is 6' 225lbs a bit bigger than Connors, but Connors seems to offer a bit more on special teams plus catching the football too.

Last August, I really liked Waters too ... but I have wanted a 225-lb RB on the roster for some time now.

They paid Dan Villari a hefty bonus to sign the Syracuse alum, who played Quarterback in High School and had to learn the position in college. Though the Orange's passing attack took a hit after losing Steve Angeli at QB, Villari was steady and efficient, catching 39 passes for 412 yards, while earning a strong 81.2 PFSN TE Impact score.
