Maybe he should just ask for years 6 7 and 8 at once? Going for an 8th seems to be the key.
Not giving Black, Kamara, Marshall, and Wisniewski invites is nuts.
Agree. Didn't Black play in the Shrine game AND the Senior bowl? Damn near a sure thing for a combine invite.

Every one of them is a top 15 pick at worst. Id be surprised if they did more than measurements and a minimum of drills.

I would like to see McVay & Snead go to Indy this year. I know it's not a part of their normal process, but with two 1st rd picks and the need to really look at, not only Simpson, but even the day 3 QBs, I would like to see them show up and interview these guys.

6'1 3/4 208 lbs and I am betting the hand size is just over 9.
Cole Payton...6'2 2/3 230lbs hand size 10 1/8 inches. Give me the lefty in the 5th round.
You'd think it would benefit McCoy to work out. Huge risk to draft him without seeing him do anything athletic since 2024.

Him possibly but honestly I think all those guys do privates and the pro days.
From experience with knee surgeries, couldn’t give a shit how fast his forty is. I want to see the lateral movements, start/stops.
Still, I’m not taking ANYBODY in the 1rst round who hasn’t played football in a year. The only guy I can think of who had a 1rst round career was Roger Staubach. Even Todd Gurley played part of his last collegiate year, but missing the entire season?
There are other CBs who would upgrade our backfield. Why gamble?
