Rams queered the deal. But I agree and think the Steelers will regret including the safety. Though maybe they were irritated with him in-house. Never know with these things.
A Steelers fan at work said Minkah went lazy at the end of the season where he didn't even try to tackle Josh Allen or another RB who went in on 40 or more yards for a TD

Not to worry. McDaniels will whip him into shape. :hmm:

Apparently he decided to unretire recently? I wouldn't waste time or money on the guy because he seems like a mental headcase who doesn't really care. I guess his rap career didn't take off or whatever crap he retired to do?
His retirement bank account needed an injection of fresh cash.

My plan has been foiled. The Phins traded a 6th round pick to the Giants for a 7th round pick and Darren Waller…..who agreed to come out of retirement.
Let me preface this by saying, “I would NOT want to see this happen”, but they should have made a play for Higbee.
No way you can convince me today that the move for waller was a better idea than just trading, say, a 5th for Higbee.

We also very rarely trade people away who do really good after we trade them.
This is true. It's also true that Ramsey was good after we traded him and is still playing at a high level. It's mildly concerning that Miami got a good return, and arguably a better return than we did, from a player 3 years older.

Two things:
I can’t believe the steelers threw in minca. They didn’t have to do that because Miami was kinda desperate.

I’m glad the Rams did not do this. It was too early to pull the trigger for this kind of player: great for a time and probably still capable of some great football, just not a full season’s worth.

Weddle, obj, and miller were all late pickups and they all played their guts out because they could smell that ring. When was the last time any of those guys played that good for a full season Before or after ‘21? Weddle stunk two years earlier when the Rams asked him to play a full season.
Why not a full season? I don't believe Ramsey has been missing time.
