Hate may be a strong word in the vacuum of this particular thread, but he most certainly has received it over the last four years. Certainly has not been respected and certainly was portrayed as a wasted draft pick. (And, no, I ain't gonna waste my time trying to quote it - this is a football thread with a bunch of fake GMs sharing opinions - not a courtroom). Anyway, again, it's a matter of perspective. If we did a 20/20 hindsight redraft of 2021, Tutu would be a 1st rounder - probably in the top 15. He's an exciting player and I don't believe he's peaked. I think he'll outperform other veteran WRs making $10 million. We'll see.
Happy Mother’s Day Mrs. Atwell.

FFS! There is actually a thread dedicated to TuTu Atwell! It’s Mothers Day weekend. Otherwise, I’d be banning a bunch of you from this thread.

Tutu has literally NOTHING to do with what this thread is about.

Be done with it here. Seriously people. Get over it or post your shit in the appropriate thread.

Come on guys. Don’t make this difficult.
I typed Tutu Atwell in the search. I didn’t find a specific thread dedicated to Atwell. Which one are you talking about?

They call Mel Kiper the so-called God Father of the NFL Draft, but I listened to and read Joel Buchsbaum's material for years before I even heard of Kiper.
The problem Joel had was he had a face for radio and a voice for print, so that is why Kiper, who debuted with ESPN in 1984 gets credit as people forgot the likes of Buchsbaum and Paul Zimmerman, who was the first analysts they had on when they began televising the draft back on April 29th 1980.

True Story when I was in the military back in 1985, I took a day of leave to watch the NFL Draft. Back then it started on a Tuesday and I asked for a day to watch it at my apartment (@Loyal will kill me for that) and people in my unit, could not believe I was burning a day of leave to watch a draft, not a game.

In fact, it started at 9:00am and around Noon time, my first sergeant came to my place, it was not far from base just to actually see me watching it, I guess he thought I was doing something else. For the record the Rams draft in 1985 started with Jerry Gray in the first round and included Kevin Greene in the 5th. Again, so many were amazed I took a day of leave to do that so I always felt I was way ahead of the curve.

Horrid mismanagement by Bengals. You have two highly drafted rookies. One won’t practice because you were cheap and you put an injury clause and non compensation into the contract.

The other, you failed to put in bonuses to make the contract competitive with first round peers.

The Rams may wish to reconsider signing rookies to contract until training camp unless there is an agreement to compensate for injuries.
