I’m not here to judge how anyone feels about this stuff.

Here’s an example of a play. Two fiery competitive dudes.

No gestures that some may interpret as inappropriate…but I wonder if this draws a flag now(?)

I think it would.
If it does then I worry about where this kind of enforcement is headed. That’s my original point.

This happens in half the games and the official did the right thing. “You better both be saying good run and good tackle. Otherwise, you need to get on your side of the ball.”

It’s more typical to escalate when an official doesn’t address it. I’ve seen it happen and I’ll talk to my fellow official and let him know to get in each player’s ear.

Yes there are definitely times where the cause of the BS is a weak and ineffective official who is not in control of the game.

Article on Dallas Goedert trade proposals. One involving the Rams for a trade during the draft and depending on how the early rounds fall.

Assuming Rams don’t draft a TE with the first 4 picks, would you trade two 6ths this year and a 7th in 2026 for Goedert? *this was the articles trade proposal.

No. He's not worth 3 draft picks.

I think it’s higher than 2%. If that’s the case the league wouldn’t even think about it.

Nice, slipping a political jab in here. :explode1:

It has nothing to do with politics Mack. I don’t care what he does in private as long as it’s legal. But little kids watch these games and emulate what their favorite players do on the field.

Celebrate cleanly. Sexual gestures are not necessary.

If anything, it was meant as solidarity. I’m no prude, far from it.

It’s not political at all. I was just pointing that irrespective of where one falls on the political spectrum, this new rule is performative bullshit. And just like bitch is no longer a gendered term (for the most part), snowflake is just anyone hypocritically sensitive to nonsense.

So this one celebration is out but the thousand others are okay? The hip thrusts and countless other clearly sexual celebrations?

C’mon. There’s nothing real behind this. Most teams have scantily clad women dancing suggestively on the sidelines during a game…and the problem is a guy sniffing his finger???

Okay…

I’m no prude, far from it.

I understand the idea of getting an experienced tight end that can make an instant impact, but he’s getting older and costs more than a rookie.

That's why it's a good idea to consider the source of a report.

NFL Trade Rumors? This article belongs on a site called NFL Trade PURE Speculation.

Ethan Woodie ... OK ... maybe he know his stuff ... But, I don't know anything about Ethan Woodie
Did a quick Google search, and here's what Ethan says about himself:
"I am currently working as an NFL Analyst and Content Writer for NFL Trade Rumors, an NFL news website. I also work as a Data Collection Analyst for PFF. My specialties are in sports and technical writing, but I also have experience in speech, science, and copy writing, as well as copy editing."

Ethan also has 149 Followers on LinkedIn ... including @Loyal

Is Ethan's speculation any more valuable and legit than many posters on ROD?

If he thinks we'd trade 3 picks for Goedert then it's worth considerably less than most and even less than Jakes.

I’m guessing he’s an Eagles fan too and wants every team to give Howie their draft picks.

Doubt Philly would want to trade him to an NFC contender when it's likley they only get back a 6th rd pick.
