They've got two easy games ahead with Saints and Jets unfortunately. All though Drake London hurt his knee at end of game (RIP my fantasy team) and while they think he avoided a major injury it sounds like he'll be out a few games. He's basically their offense in the passing game. If Penix is out and you got Cousins playing without much in the way of receivers it could get ugly even against bad teams. Fingers crossed.

If they end up with a top 6 pick, but few top QBs are available. They might be able to trade back just 7 or 8 spots and get another #1 next year and maybe a mid rounder this year.
Yep. This would for sure be my strategy if you can't trade up and nothing is available at 6.

Losing Penix may really affect them. When he went down I was worried that Cousins would ignite the offense but he's playing without any real fire to him. Cousins isn't all that talented, so his best ball is when he's belligerent in his mentality. That wasn't even remotely there in this game.

So can Morris get him playing like that? These are indeed two easy games they should win.

One thing in our favor is the Saints are coming off a bye. Also the week prior the Saints beat the Panthers for the first dub for the rook QB. Shough has some talent to him, he can stretch it or layer it in there. Really liked his college film even if he was a 15th year QB or whatever. I think he's more dangerous than Rattler, and it's not like that offense doesn't have weapons.

Hoping we see Atlanta drop to 3-8 in this next one. Sorry Morris. Ok, that's a lie. Not sorry.

IMO, it was clear last year that Cousins is washed. I'm not concerned that he will ignite anything. If Penix is down for a while, they're in real trouble IMO.

Man... I didn't even have a chance to pay attention to other games today... so thrilled the Falcons lost again.. What an incredible draft value the Rams got there. Wow.

Are there any franchise QBs in the next draft? I don't think Stafford is hanging it up just yet, unless maybe if the Rams win it all this season. I'd hate to waste those picks and getting a Trey Lance or Purdy.

Anything is possible, but looking at the this potential draft class and how the potential 2027 draft is being talking about I have my doubts.

IDK, every year the next draft class is the best. One of the reasons the Rams made the move was because the 2026 draft class was going to be spectacular. Now, 2027, soon, 2028. In the end, they just need to find their guy and make the pick. Plus regardless of people posting that teams are not going to trade future 1st round picks, well, you always run into a GM/HC that are desperate and will make a move thinking they are going to save their jobs.

Well, as said before, if the Rams have a top 10 pick and there is a player there which some team is willing to give up their '27 1st rounder for, maybe he is worth the Rams taking themselves
The Rams themselves aggressively attempted to move up in the last 2 drafts, I have a hard time thinking they'll reverse course on that now that they will (possibly) have a top 10 pick

If Drake London's injury is serious and he misses considerable time, Atlanta could be on a bigger dive than expected. Top 10 pick? Think top 5!!!!!!
