Currently the Falcons are picking #13.

It feels like the Vikings, Ravens, and Commodes have the best chance to pull past them.

Maybe the Giants and Cardinals.

The Falcons could be #7-9 probably best case?

Totally AGREE!!! Let not say the Chit Birds please. That might not be good for The Rams.2 wins is important..Anything less might help The Rams move closer to picking earlier.

The Giants IMO are done.QB has head issues & there STUD RB is out for the season. NABERS just had surgery for ACL-MCL and out for awhile.Tough luck.

Still imo The Rams get a Top 10 pick from Atlanta depending on there QB’s health.

If Stafford is playing again, do the Rams again swap for a future #1?

The Rams have to be prepared for his retirement. They also need to have him play as long as possible.
I'd rather get a guy in the building and let him learn under Staff for a year or 2. Lot of good traits he can pass on.

I fully expect Ravens, Giants, Cards, and commodes to have more wins then Falcons. Tankathon has ATL pick at 12 currently, so I could see pick 8 as a real possibility. Dolphins have shown that they can win games, but they can also implode in any game. After they fire their coach, I think they could go on a mini run. I think 6 is best case, but would bet on 8-9.

Next two games it is highly likely the Falcons lose. We need that to happen. And from there if they can lose to the Saints (or the Panthers) maybe they disintegrate.

If they lose just the toughest games they're looking at around 10 losses. But if they lose their division matchups too, things can get spicy for us.

I'm torn. I find myself rooting against the Falcons and for them at the same time.
Fuck that. Falcons must be rooted hard against. Imagine how fun it will be on draft night if we have a top ten pick.

Also Blank's a reasonable owner. He won't fire Morris his first year when he had to play a rookie QB.

Isn't this Morris's 2nd year in ATL?

Its his second year. And what if when shula gets hired as HC in miami we get morris back.

I wish the Rams made the same trade with another team.

Would love the higher selection for the Rams, but I don't want Raheem Morris to fail and get fired this offseason.
Hell no. I want them to lose every game. I could give AF about Morris' job. I'm not rooting for him either way.

I'm rooting for Raheem, too, which is why when we first made the trade I was dismayed that it was the Falcons. But at the end of the day, it's all about what's best for the Rams. Besides, we don't know for sure that Morris will be fired if they have a bad year.

dont you put that evil on me GIF

I would like the Rams to pick the best LT prospect with one of the first round picks. I like Jackson but his availability is held hostage by this blood clot problem. The truth is, doctors could shut him down permanently for his health, at any time.
McVay likes veterans, which makes me think he'd trade draft capital for the right veteran after Stafford rides away to retirement. He'd also do it for the right dominant CB.
This seems to fit the MO the Rams have been using since McVay got here. In fact, the highest drafted OL they have selected (Bruss, Avila) were IOL. The Rams went out and signed 2 vets who could play LT this year should AJ not be able to go.

Even though I also see the Rams wanting to trade for a vet QB to follow Stafford, I’m having trouble seeing who it might be right now. I don’t consider burrow a viable option.

As for those two #1s the Rams, I would like a CB too. I’m thinking a WR is on the board as well. Adams is only on a two year deal, Atwell is as good as gone, and who knows how the hard nosed style of Nacua will play out?

Unless the Rams trade up for a QB they believe is the future.... I really can see them using one of the firsts and then trading back with the other.. who knows.. maybe parlay one of the firsts into another first rounder in 27 if you think Stafford has one more good year and if you don't think there's a QB who's worth it.
I like this plan for more than just the idea of drafting a QB.
With all of the contracts expiring in the next couple of years and the extension negotiations that will begin after this season, it might be wise to have those picks in reserve after this first round of re-signings.

Who knows, the Rams might be able to pick a couple extra picks in the process.

Blank already fired Morris once, which lead to him re-hiring him years later, so he'll have a very long leash. Besides that, one down year wont sink him considering the year he had in '24, the team won the most games in a season in 7 years
Lose em all Raheem, you're safe and sound!

I believe the owner is 83. That tends to change a man's patients.
