I think we see a rematch next year. These are clearly the 2 best teams in baseball IMO.

Best teams dont always win, in fact they rarely do in baseball....
Yeah, I believe this was the first time in a dozen years the top seed in each league faced off in the world series. Its usually a matter of who gets hot at the right time. If you have a stacked roster you do increase your chances. Both teams had that.

It usually depends on who has the hottest pitchers going into the post season.

Never too soon for good comedy. As a Yankee fan I am disappointed in the loss. But we didn't deserve to win. So it is what it is. Can't wait to see the moves they make to try and improve the roster. I'm pretty sure Verdugo is gone. Rizzo too. The key is Soto and I'd love to have him back but I'm pretty sure there have been teams without Soto on their roster who won the World Series.

We have Cole back. Rodon is back. It will be interesting to see Gil next year further removed from his TJ surgery. Clarke Schmidt should continue to improve. Hamilton and Cousins are both good relievers. Weaver is a very good closer. Lots of work to do but there is much to look forward to. Chisholm playing the full season with the Yankees. Volpe another year under his belt. Wells too. I liked Ben Rice but he's got work to do. They will certainly sign some free agents.

This was a disappointment but also a huge step at the same time.
