I love the dude because he had the guts to stand his ground, even if it meant he was stepping on his dick with the Dolphins. I detest weak yesmen types in leadership. And I think leadership is the most underrated factor in the rise and fall of head coaches. Way too much emphasis put on "can he develop my QB."I get the feeling Flores 2nd term will be a lot different based on his time with KoC.
Look at Dungy with Manning. Having the top end leader in place is absolutely crucial. And the way that stuff shows in lower ranked jobs is when they will come in your office, look you in the eye, and let you know the truth whether it hurts them or not. Flores is that type so yeah I agree success is in his future.
