You'll forgive me if I root for the Yankees? No offense, but I want you guys to lose to be desperate enough to trade a fair few prospects for Nolan Arenado, so...no hard feelings, right? :p ;)
Okay I had to laugh at that one

Is a pitching machine we use for the minors considered a prospect? Not sure Arrnado is value for them though.

No, no, no, I want three of your prospects currently from seven to eleven on MLB.com's prospect list (SS/3B Joendry Vargas, SS/3B Emil Morales, OF Eduardo Quintero, SS Kellon Lindsay, and OF Zyhir Hope. Hope would be the headliner, but I wouldn't mind Vargas, Morales, or Quintero either).

Cardinals actually have plenty of pitchers; it's hitting that we utterly lack.

You guy like sunflower seeds?

We’ll welcome him here with open arms.
He’s a good hitter.

What a game to honor El Toro… a well pitched game with clutch hitting by both clubs.

And Freddie Freeman… I mean… first pitch grand slam!!! Wow… just…wow

Didn't get to watch the game. I'm on a wine tasting weekend with wife and friends. But I got to see the game ending blast. Funny. Walk Mookie to get to Freddy.... Whack! First ever walk off grand salami in a WS game. Boom chakalaka!

Well, Imma try to watch a Dodger's game for the first time this century. I was the die hard fan before that strike in the 90's and the steroid era. I'm hoping to see something real without steroids. Go Dodgers, and forever Eff the Yankees!

I'm not a Yankee hater. And complaining about how they bought championships would be pretty hypocritical considering how much the current ownership of the Dodgers is willing to spend for the best players. Of course, if I were a fan of anyone not named Yankees or Dodgers I'd be complaining how unfair it is for the two largest markets being able to spend more than anyone else. But since my team is benefitting from that I ain't complaining.

I doubt we go after Arenado now - maybe one of your pitchers.

The #1 payroll is sitting home.
The Mets.

Much of our payroll is injured and out.

I’d be curious to see what our World Series payroll is for this roster.

I get your point about the spending, though.
I’m not complaining either.

I won't lie. I did not expect to be sitting here up 3-0 in the series. I didn't expect a deep run. I thought the injuries to the starting pitching would be too much to overcome. Now here we are. One win away. Tonight a bullpen game. Normally thats not a good thing. But its been working with this bullpen. No idea who starts. But whoever it is won't likely go more than an inning or two.

Yep. Sounds like it's going to be a bullpen game. The pitchers will be expected to get 3 to 4 outs each for the most part.

Just get the win and come home.
