Not sure it's a problem if the gambling debts were not from betting on baseball. However, if it was baseball, then that is a whole other problem.I hope this betting scandal with Ohtani's interpreter doesn't snowball into a bigger mess for him and the team. They said he used Ohtani's money to pay off 4.5 million in gambling debts. He first said Ohtani paid them off for him. Then he changed and said Ohtani wasn't aware. I hope it really was the latter. I don't know how MLB would feel about it if Ohtani paid his friend's gambling depts off for him.
Yeah that is a lot of money for a gambling problem. And you are right that there is no way that the interpreter accrued that much debt.Man... I had no idea interpreters made so much money.
It was obviously not the interpreter racking up 4.5 MILLION in gambling debts. Now anything is possible, but illegal book makers (that's what this is) usually don't give that amount of credit to just anybody.

I can load up a random Vin video every day and be a happy man.Am I the only one who gets emotional and nostalgic while hearing Vin Scully?
I remember you could ride a bike down any street and someone would have the Dodger game on with some AM radio in their garage or something…
“It’s time for Dodger baseball”
Gets me every time
