True but with more experience hopefully he makes that catch and gets upfield a little bit could have been the difference between playing next week or watching
Do you remember akim muffing the punt in the 2000 playoffs after a furious come from behind effort against the saints. It ended a game instead of giving the GSOT a chance to win the game. Akim wanted to make a big play instead of reading the room and making sure he caught the ball.

Rams need to be able to convert that safety into game changing momentum. Drive/score TD and put pressure on Eagles to play catchup. Hurts passing for the most part was neutralized. Then his injury would have been the nail in the coffin.
Game was there to be had at that point...exactly right.

My dude. Why do you have to remind me of that one in the back of this loss. Dick move. Dick move.

Great season.

The ONE team I didn't want to play was Philly-- in Philly.

Rams would have had a better chance of pulling off the upset without the damn snow-- snow changed everything, on both sides.

EVERYONE was dropping the damn ball. For Eagles, DeJean and Brown and a couple other guys. For Rams, it was Puka and Higbee and Williams and Stafford. And everyone was tippy-toeing out there.

For sure cannot blame Kyren because everyone was having trouble with ball security.

I also can't blame "one or two plays" for the loss-- there were several key plays, and lucky bounces.

Eagles were playing a stupid "prevent defense" after they went up 13. Rams were pass pass pass pass and the Eagles were just giving up short chunks all the way down.

I thought for sure the game was over at 28-15. Fantastic how the Rams drove for a fast TD to make it close again. Gorgeous sack by the Masked Singer to give us a legit chance. And what a fucking play by Nakua on the deep ball to the sideline. So fucking close.

A great, great season. A win would have made it a fantastic one.

So disappointed by the loss. But glad to be a Rams fan during the Golden Age.

And yeah, anyone who wants to criticize McVay can go fuck themselves. :laugh1:

Regardless of what happened all game, the reality was there they were with the ball on Philly 20 with 1:20 to go. Who would have signed up for that before the game started? I know I would have.... They pull that off and its an all time comeback with the inevitable "It's never over, remember the Rams against the Eagles?" any time a team is trailing late. Oh what I would have given to have song that awful "Fly Eagles Fly" trash to every Eagle fan I know
Rams won so many games this year hanging on for dear life after they should have put the game away, and now finished on the other side of it

a Super Bowl caliber team would have scored the winning TD there

I mean I'll say it. We outplayed the Eagles today. Yes they had three big runs....but the turnovers gave this game to them. Limmers unforced error that led to the sack was nothing that the Eagles did.

We beat ourselves. Next year is probably it for Stafford, so we need to push some chips in the middle here

And that's what brings them back down to earth. As someone said, talent is not weighted equally.

They may still have enough to win the SB though.
If Johnson leaves, I'm not so sure. Goff in 21, prior to Johnson's promotion, looked a lot like 2019 and 2020 Goff.

Rozeboom gets a lot of blame like he should but our secondary didn’t look too eager to stick their noses in there to stop Hurts or Barkley once they broke through the line. Pretty feeble efforts.

Definitely need to bring in some guys with attitude against the run this offseason.

The refs missed loads of holding by the Eagles' OL, and our offence was putrid once the snow started to fall, but we essentially lost this game to three long touchdowns. That really needs a thorough post mortem in the next week or so, as we simply can't allow shit like that to happen.
Huge holds on Barkleys 2nd td run, led to his Td. Clear as day on replay too. We didnt lose to Eagles, We lost to Barkley and holds! We need to get Kupp out of the Fullback role. Put fucking JW there and get Kupp on offense with Puka instead of blocking 99% of the game. Hell should have gave JW some runs as FB instead of Kyren maybe for change?

This is the 2nd game that Missed holding calls go for long TD for SB.

Cant put all the blame on KW neither. Stafford fumbled twice too( led to 2 FG). Huge dropped passes everywhere. Snow games suck overall, and we knew this going into the game.

We need a HUGE TE or blocking back that can wreck defenses behind KW.

Our defense only gave up 22 points though....the two FGs were gifted by turnovers on the offense.

Even with Barkley's runs and Hurts long run - defense is not why we lost this game. That was on the offense. Hell the defense even scored two points....if the offense just gets 21 and doesn't turn the ball over, we win. And that should be easy with our offensive players
