Yep to me this is about Kyren's fumble.
Our safeties and LBs are what they are....we need some more speed/talent to prevent some of these long runs in the future.
But Kyren's fumble.....based on what we saw this year, he fumbles there in any weather, any stadium, any situation and THAT is what this game came down to for me. If he doesn't fumble, we have a first down near midfield and we are driving. Even if that doesn't turn into points, we bury them deep and it feels likely that we eventually take the lead.
The long runs were bad, but I would actually contend that the worst defensive play of the game was giving up the 3rd and 14 from their own 5 before half. If we stop that, we have a good shot to get points before halftime, which also flips this game on its head.
