For everyone thinking Philly is the better roster, I am not sure I agree. Sure, their roster is better if you look at # of good players, depth, etc. But Hurts had almost 0 yds passing ffs. Siriani's clock management was insanely bad all day. Their poor play calling and play design were gifts. Other than Barkley doing his thing, they were completely useless. With a gap that big in the Rams' favour at QB and at head coach, as far as I am concerned, we are the better team - not everything gets weighted equally, some components of a team matter more than others. Which is why this loss is so angering. We should have won but pissed it away.

We are definitely better at QB and HC/OC, even with the miscues by both today. They are better on the OL at least for now, and definitely better in the back 7 of their D.

I'm most certainly not ignoring that. A couple tackles on runs and we win. A couple runs, better blocking on a few plays by Dotson and Hav or no turnovers and we win.
looks like we fucked up the blocking assignment one one play.

Then higbee and puka drop passes and kill a drive.

100%. We pissed away a golden opportunity. That’s what sucks so much. We should have won this game. Never know when you get this chance again. I remember thinking in 1989 after the loss in the NFC championship that we’d be back. Little did I know it would be 10 years.

To me the game was lost on 3 consecutive offensive drives in the 2H.

The first ended when Higbee and Puka dropped wide open first downs. The second was the Kyren fumble. The third was the Stafford strip sack. If we catch the ball and don’t put it on the ground, we woulda had a great shot.

Not much to vent about. We needed to start fast to take Barkley out the gm, we didn't, and it cost us. Offense woke up to little to late to win the gm. It happens.

the eagles might have the best roster in the nfl.

They have monsters on both lines - maybe the best running back in the nfl. Their secondary was elite this year with young players.

Their o-line is top 5 -

Their WR and TE are top 10.

They are like the 49ners were for a long time.

Their biggest question is QB.

There were many plays over the course of the game. Dotson and Big Rob were not anywhere close to good today. Limmer was left 1 on 1 with a guy he shouldn't ever be solo against twice on the last drive.

Two gripes.
1). The holds were insanely evident. Especially in the second half.
2). Pass Interference Flags must have been covered in the snow.

Frustrating to watch it happen. My conspiracy side asks why NBC rarely if ever showed the full replays on passing downs. Complicate with the horrible calls.

My only enjoyment was muting those dopes and just sitting in silence watching the game.

The refs missed loads of holding by the Eagles' OL, and our offence was putrid once the snow started to fall, but we essentially lost this game to three long touchdowns. That really needs a thorough post mortem in the next week or so, as we simply can't allow shit like that to happen.

Barkley’s last TD was sprung by holding or he would have gotten maybe 1 yard. Down by 1 and driving, Kyrens fumble really hurt our momentum

What a great F'n season.
Look where we started at and then we turned it around and we get to watch two playoff games where the Rams are obviously really good.
Preseason polls will have the Rams winning the NFC West.
That's a huge leap in a short period of time
We have a young ascending defense. They were pretty bad the first couple months. But they grew up down the stretch. Sky's the limit for the front 4. And they're all still learning the NFL. They're far from a finished product.

For most players year 3 is when the light goes on and the game slows down for them. Imagine how good they will be next year and the year after? Fiske and Turner are not 320 pound bruisers. But they're athletic and able to get pressure from the middle.

If they can find a thumper ILB or two they should be much better against the run. They gotta improve that position. Rozeboom, Reeder and Hummel are Jags. Speights has potential but its still up in the air with him.

I don't see Shula getting any head coaching offers this year. But if they pick up next year where they left off this year, I can see him getting interviews.

The offense is going to be a question mark. I don't see us being a 28-30 ppg team. We need a quality receiver to compliment Puka. Kupp's best days are behind him. I don't wanna see it but I have to wonder if they move on from his contract. Kyren will be in his contract year and I don't know if they will extend him. Ball security is an issue with him. Could be why they drafted Corum.

I agree with all of that.

And yet, with Hurts and Siriani at the helm, I still take the Rams over them. Again, not all parts of a team are weighted equally. We are better where it matters most with some pretty nice players ourselves, and really should have won tonight.

Balitmore? Buffalo? Kansas City? Those are all truly dangerous roster IMO. Competent coaching staff with difference making QBs.

I think the rams have been shooting themselves in the foot all season. It always happens in key moments killing momentum right when we are about to put our foot on their throats. Tonight it was the fumble after the safety and false start by Dodson. Last week it was countless but we couldnt be stopped. Every game the rams damage themselves.

This offseason the coaching needs to harp on that. 1 ah shit wipes out 10 attaboys

And we went toe toe with them and should have won.

The Rams were in that game and gave it away. A few mistakes here and there killed their chances.

Got to start the season better next year. Can’t overcome these slow starts. So frustrating. We should be playing at home next week.
Well they still made the playoffs and you can’t predict those injuries
The fumbles were killers... especially the 1st one by kyren.
Yes. always
Limmer got his ass handed to him in the most critical moment.
His pass pro isn’t that good. He’s struggled with stunts and redirecting rushers all season
