Our salary cap is shit but imagine Hopkins and Kupp and Van on the field together? :sur:

MAtt with 5k plus yards with a motivated Hopkins to roast AZ twice a year.

Think you are right. A vested veteran (four years experience?) is not subject to waivers unless it's after the trade deadline and before the Super Bowl. If correct, Hopkins would simply become a free agent.

Just listened to Pelissero with Eisen and that sounds like the case. He could still be productive for a few years but, he’s going to want a big chunk starting next year.

We couldn't afford his salary if we could claim him. We could sign him and pay him 1.5 mil in 2023, then 15 mil in 2024 though.
