.

Fuck the mannings. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard to drop down in the draft.

.
Treat people like you would like to be treated, honor your commitments and your word is your bond. Not everybody subscribes to that waive of thinking, but IMO, there is never a reason to ghost anyone. If you can't make something just be transparent, it's just a better way to conduct yourself and not only for the people that are involved, but it makes you feel better about yourself and in the long run, that is what truly matters.

Kudos to Hodge. The only reason I can think of as to why Bayless is not retired sipping chamomile tea in a nursing home in south Florida is that he is sooooooooooo bad that people love to hate him. Watching him fail over and over brings joy to their hearts. I’m not that cruel so I’ll contribute to the GoFundMe set up to expedite Skippy to the ‘Last Sunset for the Senile Nursing Home’. .
I think Les should ask Skip who we should draft and avoid that player at all costs, then ask him who we shouldn't draft and take that player.

Brady Quinn Reveals 1 Reason NFL Teams Are Concerned About C.J. Stroud

The shift — seemingly out of nowhere considering it happened after the NFL Scouting Combine and the two players' respective Pro Days — has led to Stroud being subject to even more scrutiny than usual for a top quarterback prospect, which always comes with an intense microscope.

The latest example is former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn sharing one possible reason Stroud's stock has apparently dipped. During an appearance on the Pick Six Podcast, Quinn said NFL teams have learned that Stroud once "ghosted" the Manning Passing Academy after committing to an appearance.

"The Manning Passing Academy, I've been told that he committed to it. Night before, kind of ghosted them, didn't show up," Quinn said. "That's football royalty. And when you do that, that's going to kind of set off some alarms for people of like, hey man, that's not how you conduct yourself, especially around the Manning family, or just in general if you're going to be a franchise quarterback."
If there is one thing sinking Strouds draft status, its likely his S2 score, its abysmal.

  • Bryce Young (Alabama): 98 percent
  • Jake Haener (Fresno State): 96 percent
  • Will Levis (Kentucky): 93 percent
  • Jaren Hall (BYU): 93 percent
  • Clayton Tune (Houston): 84 percent
  • Anthony Richardson (Florida): 79 percent
  • Hendon Hooker (Tennessee): 46 percent
  • C.J. Stroud (Ohio State): 18 percent
This is a cognitive test too, not just questions like the wonderlic. This score would absolutely throw doubt into taking him a #2 if I were the Texans.

Wow, that is horrendous for both Hooker & Stroud. Jaren Hall looking better & better.

I mean, it seems like some team is trying to character assassinate Stroud right before the draft. Love to see info on S2 backed up elsewhere, seems convenient for such a bad score to leak (though all teams have it).

I absolutely think Stroud going to the right situation means his floor is a Kirk Cousins type but maybe he becomes Dak...

I would not be surprised if Houston passes on him at #2. Think all along both they and the Panthers have had Young as the guy. Houston could feasibly get a QB at 12 or even trade back into the lower 1st with their 2nd rounder to grab Hooker.

Definitely seems like they're open to trade that pick. There's a game to be played of trading down and grabbing your QB or trading up and getting your QB for them but it's delicate.

I believe it is very possible for first year Head Coach DeMeco Ryans, who is a defensive coach to draft Will Anderson and look for his QB later or next year. However, I still believe Stroud will be their choice and everything else is just smoke.
