This one's easy:
With the 29th selection, Kansas City runs to the podium for:

Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama Crimson Tide

"If the Jameson Williams injury never happens, he’s the best wide receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft. Because of his torn ACL suffered in January, we won’t see the home-run threat until the middle of the 2022 season. Even with that risk, he’s a favorite among the 2022 draft prospects. AT 6-foot-2 with track speed, he can torch anyone deep and he’s also dangerous on screens and jet sweeps. Watch when he’s healthy."

With the 30th selection, Kansas City smartly invest in their O-Line:

Bernhard Raimann, OT, Central Michigan Chippewas

"Bernhard Raimann didn’t take a snap at left tackle until 2020, starting his career as a tight end. Central Michigan saw a 6-foot-6 frame, phenomenal athleticism and a player with a wrestling background. By 2021, Raimann looked like a no-doubt NFL player. He will need coaching, that’s reasonable for a player with minimal experience at the position. The physical traits can’t be taught and it’s why he won’t make it out of Round 1."

With the 31st pick of the 2022 Mock Draft, the Cincinatti Bengals decide to provide further protection for Joe Cool and select:

Kenyon Green G Texas A&M

NFL Comparison - Richie Incognito

Overview
Guard prospect with NFL-ready frame who plays with an impressive level of consistency as a run blocker. Green moves defenders from Point A to Boint B against their will, using hand technique and road-grading leg drive. He possesses adequate foot quickness to operate in a variety of run schemes, but needs to eliminate his tendency to grab when his opponent is slipping away from the block. He has pop and anchor in pass protection, but lacks recognition and mirror technique needed to be at his best against athletic interior rushers. While green has some areas to improve, his run blocking can be dominant, which gives him a chance to become a good starter very quickly.
Strengths
  • Broad frame with good thickness from waist to ankles.
  • Well-schooled on leverage and hand placement in run game.
  • Bulldozing drive blocker with horsepower to consistently clear paths.
  • Impressive hand resets help to re-establish and finish the block.
  • Base and power make wall-off blocks impenetrable.
  • Adequate patience and body control to connect on second level.
  • Pass punch is direct and forceful.
  • Improved anchor over the years.
  • Adequate recovery potential when needed.
  • Booming upper-body strength to cave in A-gap blitzers.
  • Feasts on slabs of ribs when helping in protection.
Weaknesses
  • Has a history of opting-in on holding penalties.
  • Enters lateral block fit before finding positioning.
  • Struggled with block sustain in loss to Mississippi State.
  • Requires better feel for best angles as inside-zone blocker.
  • Below-average instincts in pass protection.
  • Slow to activate lateral slide when mirroring.
  • New Mexico twist game gave him trouble.

The L.A. Rams offer WR Tutu Atwell, S Taylor Rapp, both former 2'nd round picks, our 2022 3'rd round draft pick (#104) & our 2023 2'nd round draft pick for your 2022 2'nd (#33) & your last 3'rd round pick (#70).

I’m going to have to decline (in part, because I’ve already traded for Tyler Lockett).

That's cool.

A similar offer applies to you too @Tron, and your GM is familiar with the players.

I’ll second either … a third party to make the ultimate call?

Other than Drew Lock who may become a free agent following this season, don't they need a QB ?

I was thinking Matt Corral ?
Yes they do but they have no one to protect whoever is there so they will be lambs to the slaughter.

My thoughts were to shore up the line, basically tank it this year and get a better QB next year.

But it’s Seattle so I’d be happy with whatever is the worst solution for them in the long run.

Seattle also has back to back draft picks #40 & #41 in the 2'nd round, I'm just not sure Matt Corral will still be available there.
