With the 23rd pick of the 2022 draft, Kyler Murray's temper tantrum demands the Arizona Cardinals select:

Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Burks totaled 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2021. He was a phenomenal playmaker for the Razorbacks as a dangerous point producer, including a superb outing against Alabama (7-129-1). Burks is a big possessional receiver for the next level as he is tough, physical, and dangerous after the catch. On 50-50 and jump balls, Burks is phenomenal with his ability to use his strong frame to get good position and then out-jump defensive backs with excellent high-pointing skills. Burks also shows very reliable hands.

Jones was the lone bright spot on Connecticut's roster this season. At 6-foot-5 and 333 pounds, he's a monstrous space-eating nose tackle, but he can be a little more than that. He racked up 25 pressures and 21 run stops on the season and played well at the Senior Bowl.

The Titans cannot have a veteran swing tackle in Jamarco Jones as their starting Right Tackle. Instead they make a huge upgrade with a young man who has posted a 99.9 run blocking grade to clear a path for King Henry. His only challenge will be transitioning to the right side with the potential to replace Lewan if needed.

Mafe's performance at the Senior bowl rocketed him up Draft boards as he made life tough for Malik Willis, Sam Howell, and Bailey Zappe.

Overview
Mafe's evaluation requires the evaluator to focus more closely on the flashes than just the play-to-play action. His combination of rare explosive measurables with average fundamentals could make for a perfect storm of rapid development once he gets focused skill work at the pro level. His footwork is average and he lacks desired instincts as a rusher, but pairing efficient hand work with twitchy upper-body power could turn him into a productive rush bully. He has the traits and toughness to develop into an above-average starter as a 4-3 base end.
