TRADE ALERT

As per @Riverumbbq

The Chargers & Rams have come to terms on a trade. Chargers Pick #79 (3'rd rd) and Rams pick #104 (3'rd rd) swap draft picks. The Chargers also receive S Taylor Rapp. The Chargers have lost both a S and ILB in free agency, and HC Staley is familiar with Rapp.

With the 79'th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams will take OG/OT Jamaree Salyer, Ga.

The Chargers will now pick at #104.

I didn't have an earlier opportunity to provide a picture or analysis of Georgia LT JAMAREE SALYER, so here's a few videos to maybe convey what his value might be to the Rams, a guy I believe could replace Austin Corbett at RG very quickly and become a swing OT/OG.

2021: Walter Camp All-America 2nd Team...AP & Coaches’ All-SEC 2nd Team...one of four permanent team captains, as voted by teammates...started at left tackle in11 of 15 games...has also seen extensive action at right guard...excluding the Missouri, Tennessee, Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech games, which he missed because of injury, he has played in 79 percent of Georgia’s offensive plays -- despite missing much of the Auburn game with an injury -- including all of the Clemson, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan and both Alabama games... had 10 “knockdown” blocks & surrendered only two hurries & no sacks during the season...named one of three team captains for the ARK, UF, GT, Michigan and Alabama games...Preseason All-America 1st team pick by Phil Steele...2nd team preseason All-America pick by Associated Press, Walter Camp and Pro Football Focus (PFF)...included on early watch list for the Outland Trophy, which goes to the to interior lineman in college football...second-team pre-season All-SEC, as voted by coaches, as well as by media attending SEC Media Days...2021 Dick Copas Leadership Award winner at the Dawgs Choice Awards program, presented annually by the UGA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
2020: Started at left tackle in the season's first nine games...moved to left guard for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl...All-SEC fourth team by Phil Steele...named one of three team captains for the Alabama and Mississippi State games...played every offensive snap in a 5-game stretch of the season, 92 percent of all offensive snaps during the regular season...played all of Georgia's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl win over Cincinnati.
2019: Played in 13 of 14 games...saw his first action of the season in a starting assignment at right tackle vs. Murray State...started at right tackle in Sugar Bowl win over Baylor...also played extensively vs. Arkansas State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Kentucky and Missouri...played center in a backup role vs. Missouri...also plays on punt coverage unit...co-winner of Special Teams Most Improved Player, given at team’s post-season awards gala.
2018: Played in 13 of 14 games as a reserve offensive lineman...saw extensive action vs. South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech...also played on placement kick units...named to the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for Summer, 2018 semester.

I'll be making the 92nd pick soon. I'm just having trouble deciding between tight end or d-line. Just a little longer.

I was gonna go Zach Carter, but @Ramrocket just screwed me on that one!

With The 92nd Pick

In The Third Round

Of The 2022

ROD NFL Mock Draft

The Green Bay Packers Select:

Eyioma Uwazurike

Defensive Tackle

Iowa State

FJt3BA2XsAEyx-t.jpg

Overview

Height: 6' 6"

Weight: 316 lbs

Uwazurike's combination of size, length and athleticism makes him an intriguing defensive line projection at the next level. He has played every defensive line position in both odd and even fronts and was productive doing so. Early glances at tape show a player with subpar pad level and inconsistent scraps at the point of attack, but a closer look shows the technique improved and he received more reps inside at the nose. He's an active pass rusher with lively hand usage and the ability to go from an edge attack to a straight bull rush in the middle of the rep. He will appeal to 3-4 teams at either nose or five-technique.

With the 93rd pick in the 2022 ROD Mock Draft, the fucking whiners select:
CAM JURGENS Nebraska C/OG

Honors & Awards
» Third-Team All-Big Ten (2021, Coaches)
» Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten (2021, Media)
» Rimington Trophy Watch List (2021)
» Nebraska Offensive Lineman of the Year (2021)
» Academic All-Big Ten (2019, 2020, 2021)
» Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2018, 2020; Spring 2019, 2020, 2021)
» Brook Berringer Citizenship Team (2019)
» Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2019)

2021
Cam Jurgens started every game at center in 2021, stretching his streak to 18 consecutive starts at the position. He was one of the top centers in the Big Ten, earning third-team all-conference accolades from the conference coaches and honorable-mention recognition from the league media.

Against Fordham, Jurgens helped Nebraska total 300 yards rushing and passing in the same game for only the third time in program history. He also helped Nebraska rush for 427 yards against Northwestern, when the Huskers totaled 657 yards of offense and 56 points, Nebraska's highest scoring output in a Big Ten game.

On deck: @SanAnRam I've had back to back every round.. life.

With the 94th pick in the 3rd round (and I'll be back in just a few), the Kansas City chiefs select:

Tariq Woolen, UTSA CB (rSR, 6' 4", 205 pounds)

"Woolen is a converted wide receiver (24/263/1 combined receiving line in 2018-‘19) and relatively raw at cornerback, but he has elite traits to make him one of the most intriguing prospects in this draft class. He has a rare combination of size, length (33 5/8” arms) and speed. Woolen ran a blazing 4.26 40-yard dash, second-best at the combine, and led all players at the Senior Bowl in GPS-tracked speed (22.45 MPH). In addition, no prospect at the combine had a better vertical jump than Woolen (42”)."

forgot to do this the last 7 times I've picked

95) Cincinnati Bengals @Ramrocket (ON THE CLOCK)

96) Denver Broncos (from Los Angeles Rams) @FaulkSF (ON DECK)

With the 95th pick the Bengals select

Marcus Jones CB Houston

Overview
Projects as a twitchy, undersized slot cornerback with playmaking traits and game-changing return talent. Jones has the hips and feet to cover slippery slot receivers and the ballhawking instincts to make plays from zone. He can be too reliant on his athletic ability. He needs to play with better discipline and route anticipation as a pro. He can be mismatched against size but he's plenty scrappy in those battles. Jones' lack of size will hurt him with some teams while others will elevate his grade thanks to his electric ability on special teams. There could be teams that look to give him reps at receiver, where he would have more big-play opportunities.
Strengths
  • Twitchy, explosive and versatile.
  • Hits top speed almost instantly.
  • Shop-wrecking special-teams talent with nine career return touchdowns.
  • Makes initial tackler miss and ignites downhill.
  • Scrappy as an outside corner against much bigger players.
  • Smooth hips are able to open and redirect with no pause.
  • Crowds into receiver's frame from early in the route.
  • Quick backpedal with prompt plant-to-drive transition.
  • Instinctive, aware and communicative from off coverage.
  • Opts for the playmaking close-out angles on the throw.
  • Gather-and-bounce athleticism to compete on jump balls.
  • Races downhill to wrap legs as tackler.
  • Early season 2021 reps at wideout are intriguing.
Weaknesses
  • Struggles getting off blocks and can be dragged for additional yardage.
  • Handsy coverage down the field will result in flags.
  • Shows some panic when he fails to locate the deep ball.
  • Coverage tends to be reactive rather than anticipatory.
  • Average eye balance in off-man coverage.
  • Needs to squeeze the break point a little tighter.
  • Had some fumbling issues during career as returner.
Sources Tell Us

"I love him! So much fun to watch his tape. I am interested to see how he runs because if you are going to be short you better have elite speed." -- Personnel director for NFC team

With the 96th pick of your 2022 Superbowl Champion Rams on Demand mock draft, the Denver Magic Waters select TE, Jake Ferguson. An excellent blocker for Wussell with the ability to leak into the zone to get some yards, he will be used in frequent short yardage packages. Comparable to Dalton Schultz:
