Isn't this the guy who heard it from McVay's barber or something? It's silly season and anything is possible true but this stretches the imagination to breaking limits.

He says he knows someone in the organization on the thread. He has been correct supposedly last 4x but I will believe it when I see it. Still fun though as long as you keep a level head

I'm kind of luke warm on Mathieu and Gilmore. If they stay healthy and mesh well into the system I could see their value but the other hand I'm worried that'll end up being a lot of wasted dollars for aging stars. But the Rams coaches and front office have earned the right to know better than any of us what's best for the team so if we sign them I trust it's the right moves. More than anything I'll just enjoy seeing other fans lose their shit about us signing them lol.

We say the rams org has earned the right when it comes to signing some vets and spending money on them. Yes they won the SB and scoreboard to the victors. But let’s not forget just 12 months ago they threw way valuable $5M to DJax - a bizarre (imo) signing at the time and turned out to be a complete waste. So they are not infallible.

Hopefully they learned their lesson on that one.

Level Head!?! Screw that! I’m celebrating!

In the first three games before Mayfield got injured he had a passer rating in the 90’s and played three tough teams to open the season.

Maybe playing injured hurt his stock? Nick Wright seems to think so.

Too many commercials. Too much social media participation. Too much drama. Geez, who's that other NFL QB (albeit with a much better resume) with the same issues?

If he can keep that chip on his shoulder to where it doesn't become arrogance and immaturity he could turn it around. He reminds me of young Drew Brees before he became Drew Brees just because of his stature but just similar scrambling throwing if he could stop a bit with the outside world and stick to football and educate himself and strive to be better he could be a poor man's Drew Brees in my opinion. I don't think he just is a bust or sucks.
Didnt San Diego hate Drew Brees in the beginning?????

Right last 4 times lmao this would be fantastic probably keep us all happy. Who could complain lolol.

Yeah I think both those dudes would help us. Both are better than guys we'd be starting. Still got the draft ahead though so maybe the Rams are about to fill edge, corner, and safety.

Edge they need someone to round out the rotation and if it's a guy who can rush on third down even better. Tough fill starting at round 3 but this class is loaded on the edge.

Corner they just need another guy they can coach up who has the right shit they want. Do they want a guy outside the hashes? Or are they gonna move Ramsey out there and they want a slot. I suspect slot which is easier to find too but with today's slot threats maybe that's no longer true. Playing SFx2 this year that slot rook would see Deebo on maybe 30% of snaps plus some Kittle, and vs the rest of the NFC West guys like Eskeridge and Moore who are young with upside so he'd better be ready to go.

Safety seems like the spot where they can go a bit more raw as they have a stronger room. But they really seem to lack over the top types so we'll see.

I'm honestly sincerely hoping that the Hags don't get Baker for peanuts and he resurrects his career there. He was honestly pretty damn good before he tore his labrum. He should have gotten surgery at that time and he wouldn't be looked at like he is now. IMO, Baker is a solid to good starting QB, and I want him to have nothing to do with the Hags. Let their boy Drew Lock get a taste of the action.

I have had similar thoughts. Is it inconceivable he could get better playing outside of… Cleveland?

It probably has something to do with his douche-level, or something like that, that there seems no market.

Perfect spot Carolina don't think they want him though. There is a ton of talk that the league is going to punish the browns for the Watson contract basically forcing there hands to release him as nobody will trade for him and they know they won't hold a 18.5 million backup. In which case they are scared Pittsburgh would pounce on him. I'd love that.

The NFL is great it's not just sports it's a soap opera best of everything.

Yea I said it soap opera nothing wrong with a good soap lol
