Re: RB I don't care about explosiveness. I want someone who can eat carries for us and move the chains. That's what we lacked.
He's not fast but he's a very underrated RB, largely because he doesn't have that quick burst but he'll be great in our backfield.

Edge RB and TE IMO next 3 with a Safety mixed in?

Except for TE, I'm with you. Now that the better TE's are off the board, I'm good with waiting late in the draft or a UDFA for a blocking specialist TE4.

There's still a couple worth a 6th round pick.

Not my favorite. Don't think he is athletic enough for any real upside. Solid in the passing game.
More than solid in the passing game. Best pass blocking HB in the draft. Doesn't just have technique and strength. He has a great football IQ and can anticipate the blitzes and his assignments. Soft hands with the quickness and route running prowess to be a pain in the short passing game too.

Good news is that finding TEs who can block isn't too hard this late

Well for the Rams to move up for him they must have felt there was dropoff after him on the RB board. If he can stay healthy and stabilize the carries he'll be a good pick for where we got him alone. Anything more than that is a bonus.

Also I think this means they like their TE room depth moving up which is a good sign.

yeah agreed, feels like it was never a value match for us in this draft. I like what we are doing.

I think the room they're happy with is WR with OBJ coming back and McVay pivoting to call Harris a WR now.

I like the positions selected so far. Need at Guard. Depth needed there at CB RB.

They have to be yeah. WR is still loaded even if they don't bring OBJ back. With him... Wow. I love the competition we'll see for those bottom spots in preseason it should be fun.
