#1 TY Hilton

#1a Desean Jackson

TY would be great but I think he'll be a little too expensive no? Would think he wants at least $10-12M per. DJax makes a lot more sense, but if we restructure Staffords deal we will have a lot of room to play with.

Give me TY over DJax every day of week. Hoping Jackson lands here, I think we can develop him into something special, which he looked to be well on the way to his 2nd season. He's certainly better then Long IMO.

Carson’s return to Seattle has taken the top free agent running hack off the board
He only called it like he saw it.
Jackson is far more outside corner than Nickel-Back IMO.

Just have to support it hope it works out but does nothing for me. Hope this is not the case.
I agree, I'm not a huge fan of the signing at all. Thought we could try to do better but it's not like the Rams give a crap what I think. Hopefully he stays healthy and proves us wrong.

He’s worn down and WAY too injury prone but, if at all possible, and he stays healthy all year, it dies give us a deep threat safeties will need to respect

I guess I needed a minute to breathe. Sometimes posting right away you post with your emotions. As long as he doesn't impede Van Jeffersons progress and he can stay healthy and we still draft an Eskridge it could have a good result. He can mentor an eskridge and a Jefferson and he does provide some swag to the receiver core that is rather workman right now. Also I've always stuck to if we should make it to the big game I do want experience there not depend on multiple rooks. So I'm coming around a bit.

Have read a few comments on this thread, and the other one, about Jackson mentoring Jefferson.

Van Jefferson's dad is Shawn Jefferson. The mentoring is covered.

Keep this classless DJax away from Jefferson.

Yeah, I think I'm ok with him as the number four WR with speed slash punt returner, but I certainly don't want him acting as a "mentor" to anyone. He's not a good dude. I'll vote for him 'cause he's wearing the good guys' laundry, but he's not to be emulated.

A lof of people questioned Ramsey's off the field antics and personality before he came to LA. He has been nothing other than a great leader and teammate. I think McVay's culture doesn't allow for any of that nonsense. He commands too much respect. Plus he already has a relationship with DeSean so there's already respect there. Mentoring someone on the field and showing them techniques for running deep routes is not the same as mentoring someone in life.

And Van's dad is a retired NFL WR and a current WR coach in the NFL. He needs nothing from Jackson. Also nothing is changing from Jackson he is what he is and it's classless.

Agreed - these are not the same things. Ramsey was accused of being selfish and peacockish. DJax quoted Hitler. We're not talking about the same type of challenges at all.
