Adored or Fuller and clowney or ingram and Blythe. Be done. Check.

Sounds like a good plan! But, I am not sure the Rams can afford Adored or Fuller and I am hoping that the Rams are planning on drafting a Center and WR (A VERY FAST ONE!) in the Draft!!! And, I still would to see the Rams consider signing DeSean Jackson (Of course I prefer Kenny Golladay BUT he would have to give the Rams and his BUDDY Matt Stafford a HUGE Discount!!)!

I did a quick pass of the Spotrac Salary Cap site which is still not fully updated for the Rams. It still has them $5M Over the cap but it does not reflect the Aaron Donald restructuring.

It does appear to have the Floyd contract and the new/additional Dead-$ for the Goff bonus the Rams paid on Wednesday.

If accurate, but for the Donald restructure, the Rams may have the space for one significant signing that will surprise most of us. Perhaps a player that may need to come down a bit from what he was anticipating; and even just sign a one year deal.

Beyond that ... and that’s just a “maybe” ... I am going to guess any signings will be for a player that will receive responses like ‘Who!’ ... ‘I’m not familiar with him’ ... ‘That makes no sense’ ... ‘Why!’ ... and ... ‘He sucks!’

I think that many suggested going in to FA that the Rams typically only sign 1 or 2 of their own FA, (some say "overpay") and will only add players via trade, or signing released players. And here we are pretty much following suit. I do agree with you that there may be room for 1 surprise "big" move, although I think it would be via trade.
And I also think we have a surprise "vet" signing coming.
i'm personally hoping its a vet minimum deal for......

They've been talking to Jackson so they might be able to get it done.

I know Dunlap may not be a perfect fit but in a hybrid he could be in the rotation. I don’t understand why the Rams wouldn’t want that extra pass rusher/run stopper unless he’s asking too much right now.

Always thought Ingram would be a nice get for a 1 year vet deal for a guy looking for a shot at the SB. Would be a nice pass rushing addition next to AD and Floyd. Looks like he is SB shopping and KC is as cash strapped as us. Would like to see a visit.

Also, on Adoree, he was excellent in coverage in '19 if I recall correctly. He was banged up all last season. Dude can definitely cover, yes he lacks great tackling ability but more then makes up for it with his explosive returning ability, something we have lacked since Horne and Hakim (could be forgetting someone).

Rams have shown interest in CB Adoree’ Jackson (yahoo.com)

It’s been a week of departures for the Los Angeles Rams, seeing players such as John Johnson, Troy Hill, Gerald Everett and Morgan Fox all leave in free agency. The Rams still haven’t signed a single outside free agent, but they appear to have their eye on one of the top cornerbacks available.

According to Mike Jones of USA TODAY Sports, the Rams are among the teams showing interest in free-agent cornerback Adoree’ Jackson. The Chiefs, Raiders and Cardinals are all interested, as well. Jackson is currently taking visits with the Giants and Eagles, so nothing is imminent with the Rams.

Jackson was released by the Titans this week, a surprising move by Tennessee. It was a cap-saving transaction, but Jackson is only entering his fifth season and is just 25 years old. As a former first-round pick, the draft pedigree is there, too.

Jackson grew up in Los Angeles and attended USC, so if he were to sign with the Rams, it would be a homecoming. He said in 2017 that he always grew up wanting to play for the Rams, an interesting wrinkle to his free-agent decision.

Jackson has only played 14 games in the last two seasons as injuries have caused him to miss time. But when healthy, he was playing at a high level in 2017 and 2018.

In addition to playing cornerback, Jackson also contributes as a return specialist – an area where the Rams certainly need help.

The Rams have limited cap space, so they can’t offer top dollar for Jackson, but this is a match that would make a lot of sense.

I had the chance to watch a good amount of Titan games over the last few seasons & was bewildered by Jackson's poor play last season. I really like this outside corner in college & I sure thought he was going to be an outstanding CB.......Rams might really be considering a go @ reclamation project on Jackson due to the below current issues @ corner.

Rams are short on experience on outside corners outside of Ramsey. Rams 2nd best corner Williams is not a done deal yet. The Rams only have 3 other corners signed. David Long, Donte Deayon & Tyrique McGhee. UDFA Deayon has been waived 6 times since 2016 & weighs 159 lbs. McGhee is also a 2020 UDFA who rode the Rams PS until he was suspended 2 games for violating the league's PED policy.

Long was an outstanding smart corner prospect from Michigan. In college, he showed all the skills & talents to be an excellent starting corner. He is short but said to be one of the best corners coming out in 2019 in press coverage. Long has looked terrible playing for the Rams.

Long was overrated coming out of college. He can stick like glue but does not turn and play the ball or the Ball QBs eyes

I also liked Jackson of the offensive side of the ball in college. If he isn't a starter - could he play some downs on offense?

Jackson was released by the Titans on March 16, 2021 and so would not count against the picks awarded for free agents signed elsewhere
