Damn. They're aggressively trying to fix their OL. I respect and hate the hell out of that
I see them both as veteran depth signings. Don’t view either as even an average NFL starting guard at this point in their careers. Garcia is a re-signing I believe.

Correct. But veteran depth is crucial.

How many good high impact players do the Cardinals have under the age of 30?
Off the top of my head i count three. Murray, Hopkins and Baker.

Steve Keim is terrible and i hope he doesn't get fired.

As a matter of fact i'm gonna call it now. Keim will sign Todd Gurley to "solidify" the position for the next 12 months.

Is he washed up/declining?.......................Is he old?

Wow, yeah we're tapping out. That's a lot of coin. I'm assuming we are waiting for someone cheap to be available or possibly shake loose from another team.
Upside and FA are a cap-wrecking combo lol. Teams just can't help themselves. They may hit on his addition but at that price yeah I agree gotta pass.

Didn’t have the qb
If he would have shown some ability to catch contested balls or actually gotten open things may have gone differently for him. Dude's a JAG but when he wants to block watch out.

Murray misses a lot in his reads in the pocket due to his short stature. So I think that's really their biggest issue. I'd install a rollout offense for that dude and get him in space on just about every passing down. He's athletic enough to do that even when the edge is playing wide with his quickness. Just get him where he can see the field.

All of which I hope Arizona doesn't realize lol.

Some of those OL signings don’t move the needle much but veteran depth on the OL and DL isn’t a bad thing.

I like the Rams depth on the O-Line. Just not certain they have five quality starters.

Whitworth, Havenstein, Corbett, Edwards, Noteboom, Evans, Anchrum and Brewer.

That’s eight; and I did not include Shelton, Allen or Demby.

Most teams only carry nine OL on their 53. Some carry only eight; others, ten.

If you want to add veteran depth, who you taking off? There’s only so many roster spots.

Easy. Demby and Allen

OK. That means you don’t want the Rams to add an O-Lineman?

I listed eight OL not including Shelton, Allen and Demby.

You don’t like Allen or Demby (neither do I). So add Shelton to the top eight that I listed. That’s nine. That’s the Rams OL.

Oh I thought you meant drop two to be replaced.

I’d like to see them draft a Center early. I’d drop Shelton but think they’d need a backup Center. If Blythe is signed then make him the backup center or start the beginning of the season as the starter and move the rookie into his spot part way through
