Seems like a lot for what he offers now.

Really hoping Denver, Miami, or Jets step up for Watson. I think its a foregone conclusion he gets traded. They are not going to willingly allow him to sit out the season and diminish his value. The could receive some really handsome offers from Jets and Dolphins. Just say NO to the whiners. That is the only trade that won't land them a potential future franchise QB.

I think as the draft gets closer Houston will decide to move Watson. Not sure the 9ers have the balls to get that done but the fear is real.

Hoping Carolina gets this done. Keep him away from SF.

I agree. I hope he’d go to a lousy team out of the division. The Niners are only drafting early this year because of injuries. Their draft picks seem likely to be late in each round.

But how long would any team be drafting early in each round once they have Watson at QB. In one year they could be middle of the league. It’s likely they wouldn’t drop much from there.

I guess that’s still a better projection than what the Niners give them.

If Stafford was worth Goff and Two late first rounders what return does a very good Pro Bowl QB, arguably top five in the league, for Houston?

How do you put a value on him when he’s still in his prime? I would love to hear what some of the offers have been.

Isn’t there a limit on how far in the future draft picks can be traded? And even if a team pulled a Mike Ditka and offered their entire draft, for two years would it be enough? Teams can spend a decade or more searching for a QB of that quality. At Watson’s age he’s almost priceless.

They practically have to be but what can they trade? I guess a boatload of draft picks and Bosa? Houston is likely going to want a decent to good QB in return but that’s not happening.

I’m hoping it falls through for them. They currently have the worst QB in the division

You have to remember that Jimmy Garoppolo played for New England, both team President Jack Easterby & GM Nick Caserio came from the Patriots, so three number 1's, Bosa & Garoppolo might just get it done.
