Yea never understood the love affair around here with Ross lol. You would think people learned their lesson with Tavon Austin. Ross is such a dogshit WR, all he had was speed. Been saying it for a while theres a good chance we're going to sign Desean Jackson for cheap.

But with Rodney Hudson available I think we should kick Havenstein or Brockers to the curb if necessary to get that deal done. After the Stafford restructure tmrw we should have around $15M in space left..not including any cuts or trades. Golloday is still out there too. Trading Woods or Kupp and grabbing him still an option. Its very odd he hasn't signed yet.. almost like he's waiting for us.
I would not kick Hav to the curb if we can simply get rid of Brockers to get Hudson because that would make our O-line legit.

If the Rams plan on drafting an OT with our 2'nd or 3'rd round, competition at RT should be quite legit.

Okay but seriously, there's no reason we don't go get a premier Center now right? I mean I got it before when we were cap strapped and could keep Blythe on a decent deal but you could literally just give brocker's money to Hudson or Andrews and then add some of Blythe's money on top and you now have one of the best centers in the league.

Keep beating that drum, I’m with you all the way.

Call me whatever if I'm late to
Lions signed RB Jamaal Williams, formerly of the Packers, to a two-year, $7.5 million contract.
Williams is a high-end backup and role player, particularly on passing downs. He's essentially a poor man's D'Andre Swift, which is a little bit of a bummer for both of their fantasy outlooks. Williams should be in the mix on some passing downs after catching 25-plus passes in four-straight seasons, and there will be a ton of passing downs up for grabs given the Lions' 2021 roster. Williams should be viewed as an insurance type with a path to a bellcow workload in the event of a Swift injury. Swift is a risky RB1/2.

TRENT WILLIAMST, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

49ers signed LT Trent Williams to a six-year, $138 million contract.

Williams' patience pays off (literally) in becoming the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history, landing $55.1 million guaranteed including $30.1 million as a signing bonus. Initially drafted by Mike Shanahan in 2010, it's also likely Williams, 32, finishes his career under Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco. The Chiefs and Bears had reportedly discussed deals with him too but weren't in the same ballpark in terms of compensation. The final details are expected to unveil the Niners stretching out Williams' cap hit to allow for $16-$18 million in cap space ahead of the official start of free agency.

the rams better get some lbers who have range, can beat blocks and can tackle forcefully. if i see whiner wrs catching the ball behind the line of scrimmage and blowing past four defenders making 1st down after 1st down throughout the games i might blow my top.

Yep. And get shoved around like nothing. Seems like we play these power run teams and we just fold up and bend over for them.

Yea just saw this. Was hoping maybe we'd steal Mack..but he came out a few weeks back and said he wants to play for Shanahan so figured it would get done.

Hoping we restructure Stafford today and make a few more moves. Center and/or WR would be amazing.
I don't see them spending money on receiver when they're already 3 deep, but maybe! More likely they draft a joystick 4th option.

They should get the best center on the market though. I really hope that's the case.
