In case no one said this yet, the rams are completely under the cap.
One question.......was Matt Stafford's contract restructured? If not, that's more cap room we can get tomorrow.

It can't be done until tomorrow. So more on the way!One question.......was Matt Stafford's contract restructured? If not, that's more cap room we can get tomorrow.
Yeah I think you're right re: when they address it. It has never been a priority. The Rams had the #1 overall Defense with Troy Reeder and Kenny Young playing ILB most of the season. You really think they are going to commit quality resources at that position?
I would like to upgrade Reeder with someone who has much better lateral quickness, but if it happens at all, it will be with a mid to late draft pick.
Thought the release of Rodney Hudson was one of the more interesting NFL news items of the day, so I went to a couple Raiders Fan Forums.
One has a thread titled “Fuck Jon Gruden”.
It’s 159 pages long.

Only thing that worried me is they said they weren't gonna extend him. He was gonna play his contract out.I'm hoping for a two year extension.

Should be voidable years just to spread out the bonuses.Only thing that worried me is they said they weren't gonna extend him. He was gonna play his contract out.
49ers have a 4-year, $80 million deal on the table for Trent Williams
According to John Lund of KNBR, colleague Greg Papa reports that the San Francisco 49ers have a four-year, $80 million deal on the table for offensive tackle...www.49erswebzone.com
Is there something I'm missing on Marvin Jones? He fits the mold of a Robert Woods type receiver just not as talented. We need speed and he has struggled with separation. Why him and not someone like John Ross
that was a fast hour and a half of him being a Ram
I would love to have him too but there are teams that might be able to make Hudson the highest paid center in the NFL.The Rams have a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY right now to get a really good player at a REAL POSITION OF NEED!!! I hope they seize their opportunity and SIGN HIM!!!
I’d be down with signing Jackson. Doesn’t count against the comp pick formula, is an excellent returner, and he could be Hill’s replacement.

Think that is currently Linsley at $12.5 per. Do you think the Rams could go that high?
I posted earlier that my guess is that Hudson will go for the money but I don't know.
