He is! I really think highly of Blankenship. I see a top kicker in the league in him. I pray even with a 5th rounder we get him.

I think we have Lirim the Leg now ... so we have no use for a Blankenship. ;)

and we've just signed Austin MacGinnis from XFL too ... a plethora of kickers !!

Ok -- but not at the expense of your Tom Brady Bucs ... you're OTC !
I only have one pic left for TB, right now. TB has no seventh. So, no conflicts. I will choose the best I can for those Vikes!

With the 194th pick of the
2020 ROD Mock Draft the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers select

Braden Mann
Punter
Texas A&M

20200413_141252.jpg

College
All-Time Record

51 Yard
Average Per Punt!

Overview
Mann was the premier field-flipper in all of college football with the touch and talent to stick opposing teams near their end zone on pooch kicks. He offers additional value handling kickoffs and is an above average open-field tackler. He may need to sacrifice some distance for more hang-time to prevent out-blasting his coverage, but he has a chance to become a top-five punter in the league.

Strengths
  • Career average of just under 49 yards per punt
  • Outstanding total of 54.3 percent of his punts went 50-plus yards
  • Open-field tackler with 10 solo stops over last two years
  • Good directional punter
  • Adequate touch-to-toe speed
  • Handles kickoff duties, hitting 66 percent for touchbacks
  • Has pooch technique to kill football near goal line

I think they are comfortable with Stidham. Belicheat will want to show he can win with a scrub to massage that massive ego of his and to rub Tommy's nose in it.

But a QB here does make sense in a lot of ways

WITH THE 196 PICK IN THE ROD MOCK DRAFT

THE CHICAGO BEARS SELECT

JAMES PROCHE WR SMU
last year my guy was Kelvin Harmon who I think is gonna be a star eventually in DC.
this year my guy is James Proche. Last year I got dinged with I picked Harmon in the second, so this year I cooled my jets, so i'm glad to see he's still here for Chicago! This kid can catch and he is quick

Here is a good highlight reel on Proche

I thought he would be picked by now tbh. Hes got big play ability. I think he goes anywhere from round 3-5. FWIW Draft Network had him ranked #98 overall and also had this about him:
Summary: Antonio Gibson is a fascinating NFL Draft projection with a wide range of outcomes in the NFL. A RB/WR hybrid player in a crowded Memphis backfield, Gibson took the majority of his snaps at WR across his two seasons at Memphis after rising up through the JUCO ranks. Gibson projects to RB at the NFL level given his smooth change of direction, quality contact balance, and explosive cuts in the open field, but his narrow frame of reference for blocking schemes at this stage make that position a multi-year projection. Gibson will first contribute as a returner and third-down back, and his WR background will benefit teams willing to feature him a pass-catching back on routes split out wide and from the backfield. A walking explosive play, Gibson has homerun hitting ability and an extremely high ceiling if his promising vision and feel continue to grow, and should be viewed as a potential starter by Year 3. He deserves back-end of Day 2 consideration.

Interesting to note. I'll be keeping an eye out for him come this weekend on day 2 and 3.
Yes...I'll be happy to take over the Vikings for the remainder of the pics!

Okay sounds good man thank you!
