So he could maybe take a snap sometime in Year 4? Or because they didn't want Chase Claypool?Read my prior. NO one could trade for #12. I still have no clue why they drafted Mr. Love.
This was my exact take from his mic’d up video from the Sea wildcard game. Dude was positive always and in everyones ear all game. Love seeing young leadership!
Very surprised he survived the season tbh. He's so fucking bad and Hecker even had his worst year in forever too under this joke of a coach.
I can’t wait to see a settled in Akers get involved in the screen game tbh. I think it has truly deadly potential!Akers is such a fucking stud. What a huge playoffs he had. 18 for 90 + 1TD today. Been watching him since FSU and knew he would be a great pro, so glad we drafted him. Sucks he had some injuries early in the year but he will be a monster next season.
So all Goff's mistakes and poor play are forgiven with a marginal final game? My you're easy to please.
Darious Williams is restricted. If they lose him it will because they can't match an offer and then they receive a draft pick depending on their tender offer.Darious Williams, Leonard Floyd is gone. We all know this add more to this sitting pot. We got close. That's life. #12 will be in the Pat MacAFee show Tuesday. We had our chances.
Unless they go get Watson, who are they going to get to replace Goff? And I just can't see us having the picks to trade for Watson or the cap room.
He is accurate on deep throws too as long as he has time to throw and a WR that can get open deep. A lot times he over throws the deep balls because the WR doesn't get any separation and isn't open. We need a WR that is either fast enough to get open or big enough to outplay the DB for the ball. We have good WRs, but they are all possession types.honestly i think he did taylor the offense to goff and the offensive line...
Goff is accurate on short throws... so lots of short throws... the oline is average so get it out quick
The Packers would have probably won if the game was played on a neutral site. But to say it was a non-factor is ridiculous.
Cold weather I'm sure affected tackling and movement out there. Crowd noise also played a factor.
It didn't decide the game... but I'm sure MOST players would agree Lambeau is a tough place to play, fans or no fans.
I think McVay wants Goff to feel uncomfortable with his situation. I think he saw a motivated Goff over the last few weeks that hasn't been their for a while. He mentioned earlier in the season after the Miami game that he needed to put in more time during the week. He thinks and I think rightfully so that Goff needs to study harder and work with more intention than he has the last 2 years. Like I said, the last 3 weeks McVay saw the Goff he wants to see all the time. A more focused Goff. They definitely controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides. I was surprised how well they ran it down our throats..super surprised. And that cant all be put on AD being hurt. Our angles and tackling today were atrocious. You cant let that team run the ball well. Only chance to get to Rodgers was stop the run and get them in known passing situations. If they are in manageable down and distances like today no way you beat them.
Honestly Goff played well 2day and should've been a non story. But leave it to McVay to answer a question like that and not commit to him, and get the Rams' writers all riled up. I personally wanted us to make a run at Watson, even if it meant giving up another 2+ 1st rounders because I think he's that good. Figured it was a long shot though, but when McVay says stuff like that maybe we actually do try and trade for him.
I like how the people that protect goff like he is an infant have no problem calling teh defense out...
the defense that was really without its best player and that has carried the team all year.
Im not suprised but it makes me laugh.. people are... just typical.
