Redskins want a 2nd rounder for Williams and Williams wants 20 million a year on a new contract. Hard pass on him personally.

True though they did say yesterday the 2nd rounder is negotiable and either way Gurley off the books and Williams would look terrible sitting out with another team then would never get his 20 million with basically 2 years of no game film. He also does have a relationship/familiarity with coach. And if he does choose to leave Gurley money gone Williams money obviously gone and noteboom another full year to heal and learn and even maybe draft another tackle. Let's face it Redskins could use Gurley or cooks btw lol.

Just a thought in addition to previous comments but they have Guice who's injury prone with a bad knee plus a 50 year old Adrian Peterson. I can't see them actually wanting Gurley.

Three more words: DeAndre Hopkins trade.

Fair point. I was thinking contracts, but you're right that is a deal and easily the worst of the day (if not the past 10 years).

Easily the last 10 years. This is on the level of Herschel Walker, but in reverse (too much versus not enough).

And what's insane is that somehow the Vikings got a better haul for Stefon Diggs.

This would be like the Niners and Rams trading Buckner and Donald the same day and the Niners getting a better haul. I've seen many Texans fans renouncing the team until BoB gets fired and I can't say I blame them.
