We are? I didn't realize free agency and the draft were over. Just curious but do you ever post anything positive? Everything seems to be just doom and gloom. Seattle has done nothing yet other than lose players. Niners haven't done anything other than pay a DE who's had 1 good year a ton of money. And the Cardinals added a great WR but still have many questions and a QB going into his sophomore jinx year. I just don't get this doom and gloom we're still a very very good team and have a lot of time to improve ourselves. Also the Niners are rumored to be trading Buckner which if that happens they fucked up that good DLine and kept the wrong guy and overpaid him.

What did I expect coming off of a Super Bowl appearance? A minimum of 10 wins and a playoff appearance. Mind you, those expectations are already three games and assuming we lost in the playoffs, multiple playoff games worse than last year.

Goff, the OL, the coaches, the defense, GZ, Hekker, ST coverages - all at some point or another, or for the whole season - did not meet what my expectations were. Okay, that happened, now what do we do?

We modify them. Hard for me to say we're still a very good team - we appear to have an average QB, a below average OL, a below average RB room, and then an elite WR and TE group.

On defense our front 7 is headed toward disaster, while our secondary should be elite.

JJ, Rapp, Ramsey, Hill, NRC, Long, Higbee, Everett, Kupp, Woods, Cooks, Reynolds, Donald - positive

The rest are either a negative or an unknown right now.

People can be more positive than that, obviously - but as the old adage goes, we are what our record says we are - and right now that's an average team.

Having said all that, I still think we're better than Seattle and Arizona, but at the same time, if the wrong things happen, this could easily be a team that finishes in last place next year.

I guess you can't be positive about anything. You got it man I'll drop it.

Niner's trading Buckner is insane to me. I can't believe they would do that

I literally just said that our WR/TE and DBs are elite, which is a positive thing to say.

13th pick is not bad considering they cannot afford everyone. Its probably a nice move on their part. Then again, i hope it explode on their face.

The 69ers paid the wrong lineman. Buckner is elite, and Armstead has been bad until this season. I see Armstead as a Fowler-like situation.
